It was a beautiful day in Smallville, with the morning sun casting its warm rays through Naruto's window. He began his day with a stretch, his well-trained physique flexing as he got out of bed. Naruto had been diligent about his physical training; it was a habit he couldn't shake, even in this new world. After all, staying in shape was essential for a ninja.

He headed downstairs to make himself some coffee. Naruto had been trying to cut back on his beloved ramen, as Kara had warned him about the potential health risks. While he'd eaten ramen his entire life without any problems, he couldn't deny that maybe, just maybe, a more balanced diet was a good idea.

Naruto: (yawning) Let's see what's on the news today.

With coffee in hand, he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV, tuning in to the Metropolis news. The screen featured Lois Lane, a well-known reporter from the Daily Planet, covering a story about Superman's recent heroics.

Lois: (on TV) This is Lois Lane from the Daily Planet, reporting that the villain Parasite and Livewire have escaped from Stryker Island. Thankfully, they were swiftly apprehended by Superman and Supergirl.

As Naruto listened to the story, he couldn't help but feel empathy for Superman and Supergirl. Both of them were aliens from an extinct race, much like Naruto's own situation. He knew what it was like to be the last of his kind and carry that burden. His village had lied to him about his heritage, concealing the truth. Only a select few knew about his lineage, and none of them had ever offered him any help or support.

Though it made him angry at times, he found solace in the fact that he had one person who truly cared for him – Anko. She had been there for him like a mother, and he cherished her presence in his life. He might be labeled a "mama's boy," but as long as he had someone to call "mother," he was content.

A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.

Kara: (from outside) Naruto! Are you ready for today?!

Naruto: (startled) Oh, crap! I forgot!

He rushed to the door, opening it to find Kara standing there, her glasses perched on her nose. Naruto was shirtless, and as Kara's eyes widened in shock, he noticed that she had a small nosebleed.

Naruto: (concerned) Kara?

Kara: (snapping out of it) Huh? What?

Naruto: (pointing) Your nose is bleeding.

Kara: (wiping her nose) Oh, sorry. I accidentally hit it on the door this morning.

Naruto: (getting closer) Are you sure you're alright?

As Naruto moved closer, Kara's face turned an even deeper shade of red. She couldn't help but notice his well-defined muscles and his cute whisker marks. Her thoughts went haywire.

Kara: (thoughts) Oh no, he's... he's so handsome!

Naruto: Kara?

Kara: (stammering) I'm fine, just in a hurry to get to the city.

Naruto: Well, let's get cleaned up and dressed. I'll be right back.

Barbara: (suddenly appearing) Hello, I'm right here.

Kara's eyes widened as she turned around, momentarily forgetting that Barbara was there.

Barbara: (friendly) Sup, I'm Barbara Gordon, Kara's best friend from Gotham.

Naruto extended his hand with a friendly smile.

Naruto: (pleasantly) Naruto Uzumaki, the unpredictable knucklehead.

Barbara raised an eyebrow with an amused grin at Naruto's title.

Barbara: (teasing) I have to admit, you look pretty good without a shirt.
