How did we end up here

Chapter 2

Today I could sleep in a little because on Wednesdays I don't have a shift at the café so I agreed with Olga that we could train in the afternoon. The only problem was that the hockey team also had training the exact same time and trust me we all have tried to change that but it's just not possible and we just have to get by with it. We usually just split the rink in half with a little wall.

When I train in the afternoon there are other girls wo train with me. I Never really tried to befriend them. They've just always seemed like the only thing mattering to them is being seen by the hockey boys, most of all by the infamous Zane Anderson. So I never really got to know them and also they can be really mean to me sometimes.

When I woke up I hoped into the shower and brushed my teeth, then I chose to put on clothes that actually kind of look good. I always shop at a thrift shop for me and my sister. My dad never gives us money for clothes so I always have to use my salary and that means we can't just go shopping whenever we want. We usually go all few months and for Alice we usually don't have to buy a lot because she gets all of my old clothes. I'm 5'5 and she's about 5'1 so they are a little big for her but she doesn't mind.

I put on my mascara again and went downstairs. We had some bread leftover from yesterday so I made a sandwich for my sister and packed her some for lunch and ate the rest then I went to wake her up.

Today we again left bevor my dad woke up so I drove my sister to school and I even got to school on time today. My first class of today was biology.

I sat beside Maya again and made notes because we had an exam next week. At lunch I couldn't buy food because I only have enough no buy groceries for me and my sister. Maya offered to pay for me but I declined and we sat down. She has a big slice of pizza in front of her. We were just talking as I suddenly saw a shadow over me. I looked up and to my dismay is was Zane.

"What do you want?", I asked him. "Hello to you too princess.", he said smirking. "Uhm don't call me that!", I told him. He just looked at me like I was worthless to him. "Chill out princess I was just going to give you my address so you can come over after school.", he said. Then I remembered... today is Wednesday that means I have to tutor him at his house. "Oh yeah, right I forgot. Okay sure when can I come over?", I asked him. "Right after school. I'll text you my address be there like 20 minutes after school." I wanted to tell him that that won't work because I have to pick my sister up from school and take her home and get her some food, but he has already walked away. "So princess huh. What's that all about?", Maya looked at me. "Bro I don't even know he has never said that bevor. He is just a weird ass guy." I laughed. "So are you ready to tutor him. I mean you've hated him for years. Like since you've known him." "Yeah I don't think I'll ever be ready.", I told her. "Well I'm not going to lie he is very hot and I would love to have to tutor him but sadly I'm not that smart. So that being said don't fall in love with him because I feel like that won't turn out that well.", she said laughing again. I looked at her shocked. "omg May chill. I'm not as weird as you! I would rather eat poison than ever fall in love with him. You know what, if I ever fall in love with him then you can punch me!", I told her. "Okay Okay I'm down. If I ever find you obsessed with him I'll punch you!", she was laughing so hard.

School today was really slow and I felt 10 years older then I was bevor. I said bye to Maya and drove to my sister school to pick her up. We drove to the supermarket and bought what we could with my money and decided we would buy new clothes next month in October because it is slowly becoming colder.

At home we ate a little bit then I realized I had to go or I'll be late to Zane's house and I don't want to get on his bad side now. I told Alice again to text me or in an emergency call me if she needs but if my dad drinks tonight at work that means he won't be home bevor me. Then I packed my bag with my biology and math books because next week we have exams in both.
