Sarah's POV:

Razor grunted in pain as I dragged him towards the inn.

"Could you stop dragging me?" He shouted.

"Nope!" I said, giggling. Not heeding his continued complaints, I kept dragging him.

After a little more dragging, we finally made it to the inn.

"Here we are!" I exclaimed. Razor yanked his arm out of my grip, groaning.

"Did you really have to drag me all the way?" He complained. "I feel like my arm is going to fall off!"

"I thought you were tough, Razor." I teased. He rolled his eyes, turning to look at the inn.

It was a fairly large structure, with 2 floors. It was constructed completely out of wood. Leafy plants grew all around; on the roof, dangling on the walls, even covering the entrance. Being a Grass type, the whole place had a homey feel to it.

"Wow..." I said, looking at it. Razor looked at it indifferently. Being a Water type, he probably couldn't relate.

"What do you find so endearing about plants?" He asked me, curious. I shrugged.

"Well, I am a grass type, so I'm basically a plant already." I said. Razor chuckled.

"A cute plant." He said under his breath. I blushed.

"What?"

"N-nothing." Razor hastily said, blushing slightly.

"O-kay..." I said. Razor turned away from me and headed towards the vine-covered entrance.

"C'mon." He said, heading inside the inn. I followed him with red cheeks.

Inside the inn, there was the same homey feeling the outside gave off. Fittingly, the interior was lit by glowing plants that shed multicolored light. A set of wooden stairs led to the upper level, and to the left of the stairs, a Breloom sat behind a polished wood desk.

Seeing us, the Breloom waved us over.

"Hi! Welcome to Meadow Inn!" She said cheerfully. "I'm guessing you two are new here. Do you want to rent a room?" I nodded.

"Just for a night." I said. "Oh yeah, we also came here with two other friends, so could we rent rooms for four?" I asked. She nodded.

"I can give you two rooms of two, if you'd like." She said.

"That would be great! Thank you!" I exclaimed. The Breloom nodded.

"That will be 110 Poké, please." She said. I turned, looking imploringly at Razor. He groaned.

"Why is it always me?" He said, taking out some Poké and paying the Breloom. She giggled.

"You two are so cute!" She said. I blushed slightly. "Are you guys dating?"

"N-no!!!" I shouted, blushing harder.

"Yeah, we're just friends." Razor said, blushing as well.

"If you say so." The Breloom said, not looking convinced. "Anyways, to get to your rooms, head up the stairs and turn right. The room two rooms down is yours, and the one parallel to it is yours as well."

"Got it." I said. Shaking off my embarrassment, I grabbed Razor again. "Let's go check it out!" I said as I dragged him up the stairs, ignoring his protests.

The second floor of the inn consisted of narrow hallways, with doors on either side. Remembering what the Breloom had told us, I turned right, still dragging Razor. I stopped in front of the second door down, looking at it.

"Well, looks like this will be our room for the night." I said. When Razor didn't answer, I turned around to look at him. He was on the ground, panting. "Razor, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"I-its not easy getting dragged up the stairs!" He said. I giggled.

"Weak." I said, opening the door and heading inside.

"I am NOT weak!" Razor shouted after me, getting up and following me in.

Inside, the room was pretty cozy. There were two beds on one side of the room, a round table in one corner, and a door in the other corner. Opening the door, I realized that it led to the bathroom.

"Nice place." I commented, jumping onto the bed. Razor shrugged, recovered from getting dragged up the stairs.

"It's better than sleeping on the ground." He said.

"You are so pessimistic, Razor!"

"I'm not, I'm just stating the facts."

"Same thing!"

A quick check of the room across from us revealed that it had the same layout as our room.

"I guess we can have one room for the girls and one for the boys." Razor suggested.

"That sounds fine." I said. "I wonder how Cleo and Ava are doing with the shopping." Razor shrugged.

"They're probably fine." Razor said. "How much trouble can they get in while shopping?"

"Um...do I need to remind you of our current situation?" I said.

"Now look who's being pessimistic." Razor teased.

"Hey!" I said, embarrassed. "Only I can say that!" Razor chuckled.

"Anyways, we should probably check on them." I said. Razor nodded.

"Let's go then." He replied. Grabbing him once again, I dashed out of the room, heading back downstairs.

"Ow! Ow! OW! Ah! Stop! AHHHHHH! SOMEONE HELP ME!" Razor shouted as he was dragged down the stairs and out of the door.
