I'm not sure how I ended up in the gym with half of both schools population but i'm here now.

Our school, since majority had council kids and princess and princes taking residence in it has had a thing where every two months there a practice of dancing which makes me want to bash my head against a wall multiple times.

I stood in a clean tux while the girls had makeshift balls gowns, a couple years ago there had been multiple fights because some pairs had been with people from opposing country's or a girls boyfriend would get paired up with another girl or vice versa

"This shit is stupid" I said to jean beside me while we tugged the masks to cover our eyes, this was how the school dealt with it, by making us wear masks, which I think made it more scandalous because now guys had a chance to feel up a girl that wasn't their girlfriend.

Plus it just covered our eyes which did fuck all.

"alright! i'll push you into a girl and that will be your partner"  Dean Erwin said making me laugh a little before I lost my balance because he pushed me rather hard and landed on a girl who gasped and fell with me, we hit the floor causing both of us to groan.

A brilliant idea! said no one ever.

"Owwww" the girl said while I got up and massaged my forehead, I hated this for multiple reasons, one I had to dance, two i'd always be paired with a girl who was crazy. I'm not kidding, last time the girl chased me around the school after founding out who I was, and then she had tackled me.

"Sorry" I mumbled and let out a hand for her to take which she did, she had a strip of red hair that was mixed with her blank inky hair, it was by the nape of her neck but a longer piece so it showed.

"Eren?" she asked making me frown, "No" I said

she snorted but it my arm "shut up, it's Mikasa" she said while her eyes glared at me through her mask "Are you really that blind?"

I looked down at her and grabbed the red strand and held it between us between two of my fingers "When did you have this?"

"I did it last night, I was feeling rebellious" she said with a snarky voice with her chin high.

"I like it" I dropped the strand of hair "looks good" I said while looking around the gym, most pairs were on the floor similar to how me and Mikasa was

"Thanks, one day i'll do your" she said while grinning making me laugh

"oh yeah cause that would go over so well with my father"

rolling her eyes the music started to play while Most pairs were together "Shall we have this dance?" I asked while bowing her copying me.

We bagan to do the basic dance that floated through most kingdoms, a dance that all royal kids knew but the way Mikasa was following so easily was making me question her. My hand gripped her waist while we floated around the dance floor in sync.

She spun when she was supposed to, her feet not missing a beat while she came back to me, one of her hands in mine while her other on my shoulder "How do you dance so well?" I asked not really thinking
