Oh, I'm Falling In Love

The moment his plane had touched down in Argentina, he was filled with so much nervous excitement. He's finally getting to see his girl today. She's started her tour back up again, and since the two of them have gotten so close since she'd taken her break, he'd wanted to come down and see her perform. After all, the first time he'd been at one of her shows it had been the beginning of all this. Now, they're a few months in, and he's so in love with her, and he can't believe she loves him too. 

Stepping off the plane, he can't help but notice the heavy clouds in the sky, and the droplets of rain that intermittently falling on him. Travis knows Taylor, he knows she loves a rain show, she's explained to him once that it genuinely made her feel like she was on top of the world. He really hopes, for her sake, that she gets her rain show tonight. As much as standing in the rain for almost four hours doesn't really appeal to him, he wants her to feel so much happiness, and he'll stand in the rain forever if that's what she wanted him to do. He steps into one of her jet black cars, handing his suitcase to the chauffeur. The moment the car pulls away from the airport, Travis shoots Taylor a quick message. 

I'm on my way, see you soon xx 

Before he knows it, he's pulling up to the stadium. During the drive, the intermittent rain drops had turned into a full on down-pour. He can't help but worry about her performing in this weather, he knows she's done it before, he knows she's a professional, but still he worries. Taylor hadn't responded to his message yet, but one of her managers meets him near the entrance, holding an umbrella. Travis' chauffeur hands him an umbrella of his own before he walks over to Taylor's manager. 

"Nice to meet you, Taylor sent me to help get you inside!"

"Lead the way!" Travis grins broadly, his excitement growing ten-fold. 

"I'll warn you though, you'll be walking into a bit of chaos. There's a lot of talk at the moment about the show being cancelled." Travis feels a pit growing in his stomach, he knows Taylor's probably devastated even thinking about it. 

"Cancelled? Why?" He asks a bit stupidly. She just points upwards.

"The rain, it's supposed to be an electrical storm which isn't safe for anyone, fans, staff, crew, dancers, or even Taylor - as much as she'd disagree I'm sure." Travis laughs, knowing she's right about that for sure. 

"What are the odds at the moment?"

"I'd say there's a 90% chance it's cancelled. The government is getting involved here which isn't typical but usually suggests urgency and severity." 

It doesn't take long for Travis to be led through the stage and to Taylor's dressing room. He can hear her talking from down the hallway. She's got her business voice on, and Travis can't help but find that hot. He steps into her dressing room and sees her standing there with her Dad, her publicist and various other members of her team. They've all got serious expressions on, discussing the weather. He can tell that Taylor's dad, and Tree have started trying to convince Taylor it's not safe for her, and if he knows Taylor, he knows she won't stop until the risk is to someone other than herself. 

"Let's wait to see what the mayor says." He can hear the stress in his girlfriend's voice, and he wants nothing more than to take that away. 

"Okay, but in the meantime, I think someone's here to see you." Tree's eyes move to him, and he watches Taylor's head turn quickly. She smiles at him, moving towards him the moment she realises. He can't help but grin, winding his arms tightly around her. He's faintly aware of everyone filing out of the room around them. 

"How long have you been standing there?" She asks excitedly, not even waiting for an answer before pressing her lips to his. 

"Maybe a minute, it's so good to see you. I missed you so much." He breathes her in, tightening his grasp on her.
