Taylor is exhausted, Travis knows she is – no matter how much she tries to deny it. She's been in three different time zones this week, essentially because of him. He's so thankful, and now he just wants to take care of her on her week off. It's a rarity for them, both being able to have a week off together in the same place. The couple had gone out for a low-key dinner and had been able to avoid the paps entirely. They didn't necessarily do anything special to avoid being caught, but it's always nice to have the privacy when no one catches on to them being out. Now they're headed home for an early night, Taylor's head resting on his shoulder in the back of the car. He can't help but look down at her and smile, she looks so cute and peaceful. He takes in every detail of her face, the way her eyes flutter while they're closed, her muscles relaxing as she drifts closer and closer to sleep, the grip of her hand on his. Travis just holds her close, happy for her to get the rest she deserves. She's finally on a two-month long break from tour before she finishes up in Canada towards the end of the year. Of course, Taylor being Taylor that meant she'll throw herself into a million other things to fill up her time, but she'd allowed this week to just be for them.

As the car parks carefully inside his garage, Travis gently caresses her face to see if she's coherent enough to walk herself inside. She lets out a small groan before burying her face further into his chest. He can't help but laugh before scooping her up in his arms, and unlike at her concert, he makes sure her head is resting against his shoulder rather than lolling about as he walks. He carefully carries her into the house, looking down at her cocooned safely in his arms. He genuinely feels like his heart grows 10 sizes every time he looks at her, he hadn't realised he could love anyone this much.

"Hey Trav?" She mumbles into his chest.

"Yeah baby." He whispers.

"I'm really tired, just like you said." She sighs, her eyes not opening.

"I know you are sweetie, no matter how much you try fight it. Let's get you into bed yeah?" He begins walking up the stairs with her still in his arms.

"I used to be able to do everything, I don't understand why I get tired now." She whispers, so soft he barely catches what she says.

"You're human sweetie. You've not properly stopped in over two years, god anyone else would have dropped months ago." Travis gently places her on the bed. "You should be so proud of yourself Tay, I know I am." He presses a kiss to her forehead. "Now it's time for you to rest, okay? You'll feel better once you have." He moves over to the dresser.

"Wait, don't go." He hears her shuffle behind him. When he looks back at the bed, she's started sitting up, rubbing her tired eyes.

"I'm not going anywhere my love, I'm just getting you some pyjamas. I can't imagine sleeping in that skirt would be very comfortable." He quickly grabs one of his old t-shirts and some of her sweats, bringing them back over to her. He helps her change before leaving her to change his own clothes, bringing back some makeup wipes. Her eyes are closed when he walks over to her. "Tay? Baby?" He whispers.

"Mmm?" She groans in response.

"I'm just going to wipe your makeup off okay?" Taylor nods, and he begins wiping over her face with the wipe. He's not sure it's as effective as it would be if she got up and washed it herself. But it would have to do. The last thing he wants is to drag his exhausted girlfriend out of bed again. He feels her grab his hand as he cleans her face, squeezing gently. A warm fuzzy feeling washes over him at her touch, it brings a smile to his face. He gently squeezes her hand back, finishing up with her face. When he's done, he tosses the used wipes into the bin before climbing into bed with her. "Sleep now baby, I'll see you in the morning."
