There was no escaping a fate that had been set for her from the very beginning. But how did she get here?
Would things be different if she weren't so against her mother's wishes? What if she passed her military training? What if her mother never decided to clone her? And what if she never failed?
She wanted to shoot everyone and finally experience true silence. Was she losing her mind?
"Y/n, if you don't finish the job-" G/n spoke but was cut off by Y/n.
"Shut Up!" Y/n exclaimed as she fired a shot that barely missed G/n's head, but it did hit the guy who shot M/n.
The male dropped dead but no one couldn't care less. G/n held his torn and bleeding ear. "Y/n!" The old man's raspy voice echoed as he scolded her.
Y/n stared at him. "I told you to shut up didn't I?" She slowly walked toward the old man.
In fear for his life, G/n stepped back. "What are you doing? I'm not your enemy Y/n! They are!" But the girl didn't listen. "If you don't stop right now, I'll kill your father-!"
She no longer cared who would live or who would die at this point. She just wanted this whole thing to be over, even if that meant she'd take everyone down with her.
Everything that was happening would bring an advantage to Bonten, but despite that possibility, they couldn't bring themselves to watch Y/n turn into something she loathed.
Ran gambled his chances and quickly bolted to Y/n's side to hopefully stop her from killing her grandfather.
"Y/n don't-!" Ran grunted as they fell to the ground. "If you kill him... you'll turn just like them,"
The male remained on the floor while Y/n slowly stood up. It was hard for him to regain his balance since his arms were still bound behind him.
Y/n ignored him and continued to approach her grandfather until the old man lost his balance and fell down, now Y/n towering over him. "I'm done pretending that you actually care... you talk shit about everyone trying to use me when you're just the same as them,"
"You'll regret this Y/n-!" G/n threatened.
Three shots were fired, one went to his lower side where his kidney is, one to his shoulder, and one to his throat.
"I guess I changed my mind... I kill and watch you die slowly," She muttered as she watched G/n struggle to breathe with his blood slowly spreading.
She looked up at the dilapidated ceiling and smiled at the sunshine that touched her face. The whole place went quiet as they watched her turn in a slow dance with her arms wide open and humming a soft lullaby.
When she reached the middle, she stopped. "Now... who's next?" She said in a sweet voice as if it was the old her that said those words, all with a smile.
They all watched in horror, anticipating who could be her next target. The few Mikaboshi members tried their best to remain standing in hopes that if Y/n saw them serving her, they'd be spared.
Y/n skipped looking at Mikey and Mochi. "Takeomi, you've been awfully quiet," She said not hearing even a single muffled word from him. She hummed. "What about Sanzu...?" She then looked at the younger Haitani. "Rin~!"
"No!" Ran shouted even before he could process what he had done.
"Finally, a volunteer!" She exclaimed, almost breathless. "Let's make things interesting shall we?"
Y/n tore the tape that held his hands together. "I'm sure you held some grudge against me, or maybe you don't, but here's your chance," She threw her weapon aside and opened her arms.
