Siddhant caressed the glass of the ICU room. His heart was breaking seeing numerous wires around his daughter. Linked to her baby Hands. Sobbing he sat down on the chair while saana sat beside Siddhant, handing over him a Cup of coffee. He was continuously sobbing silently, she sighed and caressed his biceps. Her heart was breaking minute by minute not getting any response of the kid. Yet, she wasn't able to control her emotions. It was Shree for whom her motherly instincts got alive,
" Sidhaanth! Ssh! Humari Shree Fighter hain! Woh tumhari Bacchi! She has to be brave! Agar tum aise Toot jaoge toh! Shree ka kya hoga? Shree needs us Bubba!",
She said sobbing and caressing his cheeks while he nodded.

Saana was pacing here and there while the doctor was checking shreesthi inside the ICU cabin. Soon the doctor came out putting the stethoscope around his neck,"Umm!! Mr. Shergill!",
As soon as Siddhanth heard the doctor he stood up. Saana immediately came towards them when she heard the doctor saying,
"She is out of danger right now!",
Hearing the doctor Saana sighed feeling a gush of relief rushing down her veins. She joined her hands and thanked for keeping that little innocent soul safe.
"Umm..Doc! Can we take her home?",
Saana asked expecting a positive nod to which the doctor complied and gave them the permission for taking her back. Soon the doctor went away, while Saana sighed and looked at Sidhaanth,
"Go! Meet her! She must be needing you! Sidhaanth, She needs you! You go! I will be back completing all the formalities.",
Giving a slight tap on his shoulder, she said and was about to move away only to get a slight pull by her wrist. Turning back, she saw Siddhanth holding her wrist. Looking into his eyes, she saw numerous emotions in his eyes moving like a whirlwind.
"Saana! I...I..I don't think i would be able to face Shree like this. I would appreciate if you go and meet her, I should go and complete the formalities!"
Saying he left in a moment without giving her any chance to say anything. She frowned on the way he sudden reacted. Knowing him since her childhood, she always knew how responsible and attentive he is to his family. Then why? He ignored his daughter? Any responsible father would first meet his daughter when she has just won the arduous combat between life or death. Any father would see his child first rather than filling up some official forms. Sighing at his reckless attitude, She moved inside the ICU cabin, only to see the small girl lying lifelessly on the hospital bed. It pinched her heart, seeing that sprog's petite body with so many wires n pipes.
Her eyes were glassy she stood near her head and caressed her hair. Feeling the warm touch, Shree opened her eyes slowly and saw Saana. She smiled a bit,
"Hi bacchaa!"
She said softly with a layer of tear in her eyes.
"Aunty! Aap....Tha.. thankyou aane ke liye!",
She said in bare audible tone, while Saana smiled.
"Aunty mere papa kaha pe hain? Kya wo mujhse abhi bhi gussa hain? Papa toh mujhse kabhi baat hi nahi karte",
She whispered while Saana was a bit taken aback knowing how he doesn't ever talks to his own child and how beautifully he ignores his own child. She frowned at her caressing her head and wondered how a man can ever do this to such an innocent child.
"Shayad main..Main mumma ki tarah dikhti hoon na isiliye papa mujhse nafrat karte hain!",
Hearing her innocent accusations on herself. It pained Saana's heart, she let out a muffled cry and said to her in a loving manner,
" No! No! Baccha! Papa aapse bohot pyaar karte hain! He loves you so much! Pata hain, Aapke papa kitne cry cry karr rahe the when doctors were treating you. Papa was wondering, ki I miss my Shree, I love her, please God bless her! Lekin I was sure meri chutku itni strong hain! She is a brave girl! Nothing can harm my Shree!"
She gushed caressing her cheeks while Shree smiled and looked at her with a ray of hope in her doe shaped eyes and asked ever so innocently,
"Sacchi?"
"Mucchi!",
Saana said pinching her throat making her smile a big time. Soon, there was a knock on the door, Siddhant came inside the cabin. Without looking at his daughter, he was silently packing her medicines. Saana could sense the hesitation which he was trying hard to conceal.
"Papa!",
Shree called him in a broken voice, while he hesitatingly looked at his daughter and hummed. Was this his ego? Or he is actually regretting? Of not giving shree the time which she was supposed to get from her father.
"Thank you!"
She said to which he frowned and looked at her with a baffled pair of eyes.

Attachment is a psychological term used to describe the deep emotional connection and trust we experience in intimate relationships. Infants must experience attachment from their mother if they are to develop a strong sense of trust and self-assurance. It was late night, Saana was working on her laptop sipping on her coffee. Suddenly a unknown fear gripped over her heart remembering those blood covered face of Shree, she saw in the hospital. A mere thought of something happening to shree was making her spine chill. She was all lost in her thoughts when Diti kept her hand on her shoulder, bringing her back from her trance."What happened Saana?",
She looked at Diti, all the emotions were choking her up, she was too emotional to even speak a word,
"What happened Baba?"
This time mustering up some courage, Saana looked at Diti. Holding her hand, she said her,
"Remember the child about whom I said you? Shreesthi!"
Hearing her Diti hummed while she continued standing up from the couch moving towards the balcony. Looking outside she revealed,
"She is Siddhanth's daughter!"
The mere sentence was enough to make Diti surprise yet she confirmed from her in a barely audible voice,
"That Siddhant?"
Saana hummed and sighed nodding her head , she disclosed it to Diti how Siddhant and his wife is divorced and how among these complications the child is suffering,
" Kaise do logon ki galti ki wajah se! Aaj ek masoom tadap raha Hain! She is so alone Saana! Siddhant doesn't talks to her nicely. Pallavi? She doesn't even care of her own daughter! And that Little baby she expects that one day her father would love her"
Saana sighed nodding her head and looked at Diti being absolutely clueless.
"I don't know Diti! I feel a deep connection with her! I feel like I need to protect her! Love her!"
Diti smiled and looked at her, even her smile wasn't even a genuine one rather a sad one,
"Remember once you said, ' mujhe jitna siddhant se pyaar hain utna uske cheezon se!' i guess God took it seriously! That's why he sent shree in ur life, unhe bhi pata hain that Shree ko tujhse zyada khush koi nahi rakh sakta! Kyuki tu Shree ke papa se itnaa beintehaa pyaar karti Hain Aaj bhi 17-18 saal baad bhi ki tujhe uske baap ke har cheez se pyaar hain aur shree toh uska ansh hain...She is his part! You had to love her, protect her!"
