1.intro

Adelaide's pov.

'' mama. Mama. Wake up'' ava started jumping on our bed making me groan.
Me:''noo. Stop it''
Ava:''wake up mommy. I need a bath''
She kept this up until my sister Destiny knocked on my door. Ava jumped and opened for her.
Des:''are you giving mommy a hard time? ''

Me:''yes''
Ava:''no''we said at the same time. Destiny kept us company before taking ava so she can wash her. I did my morning routine and went downstairs.

Anyways. Hey you guys I'm Adelaide, 19 years old and I live with my sister and my daughter. Yes daughter, she was born under not very nice circumstances but that's a story for another day. We live in Spain. Originally from Cuba but then we ran away from home. Damn y'all really wanna know why? Fine.

4 years ago.

Well, life for us was never good. We grew up having to work for ourselves. Our parents were not the best. Dad was abusive after mom's death and our stepmother was a drunk. She would let dad beat me and destiny while her excuse would be 'I'm not your real mother.' Dad would make us go work after school and he'd keep  all the money we worked for. The abuse did a number on me. Even now I'm still not over it.

One day the business we worked for closed up and dad was mad that we'd no longer make money. He owed Austin, the gangster wannabe in our hood.

Few months later.
I was packing my laundry and I heard voices outside my room.

Dad:'' yes that's her room. Give me my money tho... ''

Voice:'' nice doing business with you old man. ''

A few seconds later, Austin got into my room.
Austin:''hey baby.''i was shocked and I couldn't say anything. Why is he here?
Austin:'' okay let's be quick so your sister won't come back while I'm busy.''
Me:''uhh...wh..what are you talking about?''
Austin:*rolls eyes*'' your dad didn't tell you?oh well, he said I can.. You know hit it so be quick little girl. I heard that your still sealed so I'll try to be gentle. ''

After that, I tried running away but he grabbed me before I could even take a step. He slapped me and started taking my clothes off . I kicked and kicked till I felt a sting on my neck.
Austin:'' I wanted to hear you screaming my name but you don't wanna coparate wimme. ''he stroked my cheek.
Me:ple.. asee''everything went black.

I was woken up by my sister shaking me and crying. I sat up and my lower part was in pain. I remembered everything and started sobbing too. We  comforted each other and she helped me clean myself. I told her everything before going to sleep.

Destiny:'' wake up.we need to leave''
Me:''wh-''
Destiny: '' I'll explan everything. For now let's hurry up and leave. ''

Well. Long story short. We ended up here in Spain and after a few weeks. I would puke, get acne and my body just changed. At first I thought it was the change of environment but i found out that I was pregnant. I wanted to get rid of the baby but destiny refused.my journey was not the best, there were a few complications since I was young and the trauma was also not making things easier.

I managed to finish high school online and now I'm a 19 year old woman with a clothing brand of my own.

My daughter is 3 years old and she is the cutest. She looks a lot like me and she is literally the happiest soul. She's the only reason I'm still going. Yes I still have nightmares about Austin but she's my motivation to keep going.
