I woke up at around 11:20 and did my morning routine. I went back to my room and Ava was still sleeping. I shook her and she looked at me. Her eyes were red,her body was burning.

I gave her some medicine and washed her up. I dressed her up and took her to our doctor.

Doc:'' you don't have to worry. It was a fever. And she said her stomach hurts. So just give her these medicines before she goes to bed every day for the coming two weeks. ''

Me:'' thank you very much doc''

We went back home and I cooked before joining my baby in the living room for some Disney movies. She fell asleep during our second movie.

Phone rings.

Me''hello''
Caller:''hey. It's jude. ''
Me:'' oh hi''
Jude:''how are you? "
Me:'' good. You ''
Jude:''im good too, where's Ava?''
Me:'' she's sleeping, she had a fever today''
Jude:'' That's not good. Is she better now? ''

We talked for an hour and Ava woke up.

Ava:'' mommy can I please have food. ''
I gave her my phone and she continued talking to jude while I dished for us.

We ate and I gave her some medicines before she went back to sleep. My baby is so cute.

It was now 21:45 and I was still talking to Jude

Jude :'' okay. I'll see you tomorrow then.''
Me:''okay. Good night.''
Jude:''good night.''

I said a short prayer and went to sleep with a smile on my face.

In the morning, destiny woke me up because she wanted to take Ava out. She took her and I went back to sleep.

I woke up after a few hours and cleaned around the house. I attended a virtual meeting with another designer who wanted to do a collab. At around 15:45 I started getting ready to meet jude. He was going to pick me up at 17:30.

He asked for my location and I gladly sent it.

I packed my stuff into a clutch and waited for him. After a while, the doorbell rang. Hmmh,punctuality. Check.

I opened the door and there he was all in his glory. Even he was wearing simple Jordan shorts,he still looked appetizing.

Jude:'' hey there. ''
Me:'' hi. '' he gave me a bouquet of red and white roses.
Me:'' thank you, these are beautiful. ''
I invited him in and I went to put the flowers in a vase and we were ready to go.

We went to his car and he opened the door for me. I said a low 'thanks' and he rushed to his side.

Me:'' so, where you heading? ''
Him:'' I won't tell you.'' we spent half of the journey with me asking where we are going to and I gave up when I saw that he's not planning on saying anything.

When we reached our destination, my jaw dropped. This was so cute.

Me:''this is so cute.''
Jude:'' thank God you like it. '' he gave me a smile.

Most of the time. We were talking and getting to know each other.
Jude:'' so, if you don't mind me asking. Please tell me about Ava. ''
Me:'' what do you want to know?''
Jude:'' everything, from you journey while you were still carrying her till now. '' my face fell and he held me hand
Jude:'' it's okay if you don't like talking about it.''
Me:''its fine. Besides, I don't talk much about it anyway''

Me:'' well... She wasn't planned, I was 17 and my dad decided to sell my virginity to a gangster in our hood. We ended up running away from home. I almost lost her because of the trauma and stress. I even thought it would be best if I aborted her. Well... I gave birth to her when I was 7 months pregnant, few weeks before I gave birth, I couldn't walk or do anything. ''

I told him everything while he was holding my hand listening attentively. Talking about it made tears come to my eyes.

Jude:'' wow. I don't even know what to say. '' he said pulling me to his chest

Me:'' it's, fine if you don't wanna hang anymore. Many people didn't want anything to do with me after finding out so-''

Jude:'' hey, hey. A lot of people wouldn't be able to survive if this happened to them. It proves that you are very strong. This makes me even more interested in you.'' he said wiping my tears looking in my eyes.

Me:'' thank you ''

Jude:'' I think I know how to cheer you up. ''

We took off our shoes and went for a walk in the beach. It was so refreshing. We were talking and laughing at the same time.

After a while. We left and he dropped me off at my house.
Me:'' thank you. I really enjoyed the evening with you ''
Jude:''hopefully, I'll have another chance to take you out again.''

Jude:'' safe to hug you? ''
Me:'' of course sir''
He wrapped his hands around my waist tightly but gently at the same time, my hands automatically flew to his neck. I felt butterflies when he placed a soft kiss on my temple. His soft lips lingered there for a moment before we pulled out of the hug.

We said our goodbyes and I walked into the house. It was late so I didn't want to wake anyone up.

I closed the front door and leaned on it releasing a deep breath with a smile on my face.

Destiny:'' hmm. Must be nice. ''
Me:'' oh my-. You scared me. ''
Destiny :'' I want all the details. ''
