A Love to Last

Hi,i am blake

After the school bell was rung ,all the students rushed out of the class,some shouting,some chatting and some were just mumuring  about how boring the class was.The college was named campbell college.
Vicki Mcpherson,a total 16 year old rich spoilt brat who was used to her parents pampering her,was busy telling her personal assistant to clean her body with her customized handkerchief and spray some perfume on her.Her personal assistant,violet was so furstrated because of her pretty but annoying boss.Violet was used to her boss annoying attitude but sometimes just wondered why her boss was so cruel and proud.
"Go get me coffee without sugar or milk now scram".said vicki.
"Yes ma'am".violet said and quickly went to carry out the order of her annoying boss.
Violet came back with a cup of coffee without sugar or milk.
"Here you go".said violet,shivering.vicki drank the coffee and spat it out on violet.
"What is this,why is it so bitter huh"
"Hum,its bitter because there is no sugar or milk in it ma'am".said vicki.
"Gosh,and why isn't there any milk in the coffee?"
"Because you said there should not be milk in the coffee".
"I never said that.how dare you lie huh?
"But i am saying the truth",violet replied
"Oh so i am lying right"?.asked vicki
"No,i am no.......
"Just move,i have to meet up with my friends".vicki interrupted.

In the library.
Thud******
"Oh i am so sorry".said irenr.
"Uhm,no its fine,i should have watched were i was going.Hi,i am blake,what is your name?"

"Erm,ah,m my name?I i ir ireme.my name is itene,nice to meet you.

"Nice to meet you too🙂".blake smiled.
I have to go now,bye.lucy hurriedly staggered out of the library.
"I think i like her".he grinned happily.

Irene Adams is also the same age as vicki.she is a very quiet and weak girl who wears round glasses and has braces in her teeth so she could have a perfect teeth,she gets bullied by almost all the bullies in the school especially vicki.She has always been vulnerable to bullies.She was the exact opposite of her best friend betty.Betty was from a very good family background.Her parents were rich,but not as vicki's or blake's parents. She bought the best clothes and made sure she kept her slender figure.She watched her weight and was sometimes on a diet.She remained the slay queen .Betty was always there to fight for irene but most times irene would tell her to stop worrying about her,then irene would reply her saying;
"What do you have a friend like me for if i do not fight for you,hugh"?.And irene would only smile and shake her head in defeat and surrender to her troublesome but kind hearted friend.
"You need to get hard sometimes, you know?betty would always tell irene.
"Hey!i am not a lesbian",was always irene's reply.

       And betty will say"you know what i mean"then roll her eyes .

     Then irene would laugh at her act and say "whatever."

Irene went to betty and told her about her encounter with blake and she got her expected reaction from betty.
"Oh my gosh,you not only got to talk to the most handsome and popular boy in the school , you also got to exchange names with him.Too bad you did not get his number,huuh,she sighed.
"I think he thinks i am dumb"Irene said sadly.

"Yeah,you are right about that.But i don't blame him,i mean for a boy who is popular and rich and is also used to people dressing like slay kings and queens,he would surely think you are dumb when he sees you with braces and round glasses  on.You need to change your wardrobe and i am the perfect person for the task.
"But....."
"No buts,deary.Firstly,we need to get rid of those glasses and braces you are putting on,then we would go to the boutique down the street,get you some beautiful clothes and go to the makeup store to buy some makeup.I think that would be good for now."
"Fine,i surrender"the helpless girl said in defeat.

After irene and blake bumped into each other,blake yates thought she was totally different from vicki.Since blake's and vicki's grandparents were best friends,both blake and vicki were forced to be friends.Unknowingly to the two,both their parents had agreed to let their children get married at the appropriate time.Blake felt that even with the short moment he spoke to her she was so calm and warm unlike vicki who was always ranting, telling him to take her to a mall or a movie house or a boutique(he did that almost everyday,because vicki never reapeated clothes.).Blake is a seventeen year old boy.He is the son of Mr Yates,the third richest man in the country.He was handsome,rich,cool and popular.He decided to tell his best friend,aiden about everything.Aiden was a complete jerk,he never took anything serious but surprisingly gives blake great advices.He looked for aiden at the places he thought he would find him and later found him at the cafeteria.He told aiden about everything and aiden laughed after blake told him everything
"What is so funny?blake asked,angry at how aiden was making fun of him.
"How would you even think of liking a nerd like her,i mean everything about her is...boring.
"I dont care if she is boring all i know is that she is better than vicki and as my friend you should try to support me."
"Okay,I can help you talk to her again since she is the best friend of betty".
"Really!Oh thank you so much.But i think i should stop talking to vicki."said blake.
"But do you think your parents would even hear any of that?In you wildest dreams,pfft".

" They would have to get used to the fact that i don't like vicki and i would not want to have anything to do with her again.I mean i might be thought to have her kind of character".

"Pfft,impossible,you are the prince charming of the school.Everything you do is okay in the eyes of everyone".

After the biology class,blake went to talk to irene and asked if they could be friends.

"Irene,erm can i talk to you?

"Sure,what do you want to talk about?irenr asked.

"Can we be friends?".he asked with confidence.

"Sure".she smiled happily.He reached out his hands
"Friends?."he asked.She took it and replied.
"Friends".
"Okay,let us go get something to it,i am a big foodie you know.

"You dont really look like one though".she laughed.
"Lets go call aiden and betty"
"Okay".
At the cafeteria,they ate blissfully after their introduction .Ever since that day lrene and blake became really close that they liked each other more and knew more about each other.Aiden and betty watched how the two got closer,knowing their relationship might just lead to something.
