Hidan sighed as he lit a cigarette and propped himself against the wall of the club. He inhaled deeply and slipped his eyes shut as he pulled the cigarette from between his lips and released the puff of smoke from between his pursed lips. His fingers brushed over the pendant on his chest, and he pulled it up to kiss it before he slipped it back down his shirt. He looked over to see Kakuzu watching him intently. "The fuck you want?" he snapped, and his coworker rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.

"You shouldn't be smoking while on the clock." His friend muttered and he rolled his eyes as he took another puff, only to then lift his shoe and put it out on the bottom of it. "There. Happy now?" he grumbled, and the other man sighed. The other man would never be happy as long as he lived, all he cared about was the money. And the bribes he took to let people in the club that weren't VIPs. The man was insufferable.

He wrung his fingers out and sighed as he wanted nothing more than to light up another cigarette. He liked his job, don't get him wrong, he just had an addiction to nicotine that resolved his stress. He wrung his fingers together and locked his arms behind his head as he watched the line steadily grow before him. Unlike Kakuzu, he didn't give two shits about the money involved in working here. He was just here to flirt with the women, and deny them entry because they thought flirting would get them in. He chuckled internally when he thought about all the times women thought that flirting with him was going to get them in the club.

However, there was always one woman he was always nice to. She was the exception. She was the boss's daughter after all and while the man would prefer for him to be nice to her because of this, he was nice to her because she was always polite and greeted him. She treated him with respect and dignity, and he appreciated her for that. She was the only one who treated him like a regular person rather than an asshole that blocked the door.

His magenta eyes slipped shut and he allowed his arms to drop so he could cram his hands into his pocket. He cracked his eyes open the moment he heard her voice. "H-hi Hidan." she greeted softly as she made her way over to him. He looked down at her and she blushed under his gaze. "Hello." he greeted and took in her appearance. She was wearing a knee length black strappless dress that had a slit up the right thigh. She was wearing heels, so she was tall enough to meet his gaze for once and yet she still couldn't meet his eyes.

"You look lovely Hinata." Kakuzu said and she smiled softly over at the dark-haired man. She looked behind her to see that her friends were all walking up. He knew the blonde one as Naruto, her current boyfriend. Sasuke and Sakura were attached at the hip and Neji gave him a curt nod as he made his way over to them, his girlfriend attached at his hip as well. He couldn't help the annoyed feeling that fluttered through him as he looked at the blonde man once more.

He didn't like the blonde man one bit.

He unlinked the red rope and let her friends in first, while she lingered behind and watched him carefully for a moment. She looked back and saw a blonde woman making her way over to them. He knew this one as well, Ino. She was Hinata's best friend other than Sakura. She was the only one that was single though. The blonde batted her lashes at him as she waked by and he rolled his eyes. He had no interest in her.

"Thank you, Hidan." she said, and he nodded as she turned to make her way inside. He watched her as she left, and he sighed. "Give up already. She has no interest in you." Kakuzu sighed and he rolled his eyes at the man. "It isn't like that." he grumbled, but the man sighed and shook his head. "It's written all over your face that you like her." Kakuzu said as he shoved his hands in his pockets. "Fuck off." he grumbled, only to fold his arms over his chest and look into the club to see her sitting at the bar.
