Chapter 10: Movie

No one's pov

Garmadon had really enjoyed teaching Lloyd how to throw, so he tried to show Lloyd how to drive but he laughed.

"I build and drive mechs all the time. I think I know what I'm doing."

"Oh, okay." Garmadon tried to hide his disappointment but Lloyd noticed and felt bad.

"What were you saying?" He asked. "Ten and...?"

"Two," Garmadon perked up." And make sure to check your rearviews." He added.

"Rearviews, check." Lloyd said adjustinh the mirror. The father and son adjusted the mirror back and forth. Lloyd kept glancing at it every few minutes and Garmadon noticed.

"What are you looking at?" The dark lord asked.

"Nothing." Lloyd said quickly.

"You're looking at something." Garmadon look in the mirror and saw Y/n with her hair blowing around her.

"You like her!" Garmadon said.

"No!" But Lloyd couldn't hide his blush.

"Her?" Garmadon asked. "She seems kinda redneck."

"Yeah," Lloyd decided not to fight it. "But she was nice to me. Not because we were friends since childhood."

"Why don't you ask her out?"

"No!"

"Why not? She seems perfect for you."

"Because," Lloyd sighed. "Cole already asked her out."

Garmadon scoffed. "Doesn't mean anything. She might not like him."

"They've been dating for a while now."

"Oh." Garmadon looked back at the mirror to see Y/n sitting next to Cole. Theirs legs dangled into the open sky and Cole's hand was placed on top of hers. They were smiling and just seemed happy to be near each other.

"Y'know," Garmadon said. "You could probably win her over."

Lloyd didn't answer so he continued.

"You gotta act tough. Flex your muscles and stuff. Chicks dig that."

Lloyd sighed again. "Y/n isn't like most girls. She likes art and music."

"Doesn't mean she doesn't like guys flexing."

"Last time a guy did that she decided him in the teeth."

"Jeez, well maybe you could- GOAT!"

A goat on a high cliff screamed causing Lloyd to swerve and hit the mountain.

Your pov

The crash wasn't too bad. No one was hurt and and the copter was mostly in tact. You stared up the steps to the Temple of Fragile Foundations and felt slightly intimidated.

"The crash destabilized the whole area." Garmadon said. "And I'm not blaming anyone but if I ever see that goat again we're gonna have words. And you can bet those words are gonna have four letters, and I'm not talking about 'goat'." 

"Give us the first letter." Nya said as you began the climb.

"This is my new least favorite place I've ever been." Jay said.

"It doesn't get much better.", Garmadon said grimly.

"You know this place?" Lloyd asked.

"Who doesn't know their childhood home?" Garmadon said opening the doors. "I will lead you through this perilous-"
