This fanfic is set at the start of season four, so one day before Mike is flying over to California! (Except for the first chapter which is two weeks before his flight) Everything up to season four has happened already but nothing from season four has happened yet. :3

El never lost her powers, Hopper did 'die' unfortunately so Joyce will be gone for most of this fic and the upside down is gone. After they closed the gate in season 3 it stopped coming back
