April woke with a start. Her wrists felt cold and heavy like the blood had been cut from them and was slowly returning. The floor was cold and hard, like concrete. A odd shape was digging into her back and April shuffled around trying to get comfy.

That was when she noticed the sounds. Clanking metal echoed round the room April was in. Looking behind her, she realised her wrists were bound and tied round a large thick pole with some heavy duty chains.

The room itself seemed large enough and was well lit up. At the far end April could make out her brother leaning against the wall, waiting.

Neither sibling wanted to break the silence first.

Neither sibling wanted to back down.

April may have been tied to a pole but she refused to admit defeat.

April sat completely still, staring at the space her brother was stood in. His shadow moved, appearing on a closer wall now insight of April.

"They weren't there for me were they?" April asked with a small sigh.

Her brother didn't answer at first, just slowly nodding his head. He seemed ashamed of his actions, something that made April scoff.

"A Shaw ashamed. You're going soft." She spat, glaring at Deckard.

"You're one to talk. You abandoned the family." He retorted.

"Yeah I did, and look where it's got me." She replied, pulling her arms to cause the chains to clang together to make her point.

"I'm sorry April, but I have to take care of something." Deckard tried to explain.

April wasn't having any of it. She turned her head away, ignoring him. Deckard sighed before he walked away most likely putting the next stage to his plan in place.

*Toretto and the others*

As Ramsey began looking into just what happened to April, she began to panic. Tej was the first to notice her frantic movements. The way her fingers flew across the keypad.

"Woah, Ramsey. Slow down." Tej chuckled lightly as he walked up to her.

"I can't see what state April was in when we lost her." She said panicking.

"She went willing." Dom stated once he noticed the commotion.

"No, she wouldn't. You heard her say he was dead to her." Ramsey said quickly.

"How much do we really know about her though?" Letty asked, just added more panic to Ramsey.

"She wouldn't go with him willingly." Ramsey repeated.

"She's with him now so we have to assume they are working together and have been from the beginning." Dom stated before he walked off.

Letty, Tej and Roman followed while Brian stayed to talk to Ramsey.

"How did meet her?" Brian asked gently.

"4 years ago at an illegal Street race on the edge of London." Ramsey replied, a faint smile appearing on her face.

*4 years ago in London*

April walked by her brother Owen. She had no idea where they were going only that Owen wanted her to follow him. As they headed down a dodgy looking Alleyeway, April could hear faint rap music. Her first thought was some weird outdoor night club but she was soon very much surprised when they reached the end of the alleyway.

It was like April had walked into a different reality. Upon looking at the hundreds of cars, April found herself forgetting about her home life and the poor treatment of her brother.

So many cars that were brightly coloured.

So many cars with modified engines.

So many different variations of the same make of car.

Just so many cars.

April was in heaven. She was in amazement at the sheer amount of cars in her sight.

As the two siblings walked closer to the crowds of people, Owen placed a firm hand on the back of April's neck. As she tried to fight him, his grip tightened to the point that April gave up and walked by his side.

He led April to a nearby car. It was a Toyota Supra with many modifications in order to improve its performance. Pausing for a moment, Owen waiting for someone else to approach them before handing April over. Once he knew she was so called safe with them, he got in the Toyota and drove away.

The person now incharge of April was less enthusiastic to keep a close eye on her which resulted in April being able to easily slip away. She headed over to the area when the hackers hung out and tracked the movement of the police.

April walked for a moment before approaching one of the hackers. She looked at the screen before muttering some code under her breath. The hacker looked at her confused before she inputted the code.

Her screen completely changed giving a much clearer and detailed view of any nearby cops.

"Thanks." The hacker said turning to April.

"April." She replied holding her hand out.

"Ramsey." The hacker replied shaking April's hand.

April stayed by Ramseys side watching her monitor the computer screen intently. It wasn't until after the race in which her brother lost to a younger racer did April begin to move away slowly.

"Take this." Ramsey said handing April a piece of paper before walking away.

April took a look at the paper and smiled slightly, before she was suddenly slammed against a nearby wall.

*In Abu Dabhi*

"She arrived on my front door a month later looking a little worse for wear." Ramsey explained.

"You gave her your address?" Brain questioned.

"Yeah, I knew from watching her that something wasn't right and then when she said her name knew who she was and who her family was." Ramsey replied.

"I believe you." Brian told her quietly after a moment of silence. "I will make sure nobody hurts her." He added before leaving her.

*April and Deckard.*

A sudden noise of a door being slammed open caught the attention of April. She knew this was most likely Dom and his team coming to kill Deckard and even after everything he had done to her, she still didn't want him to die...
