April turned left at the first opportunity while Roman, who had Tej with him, turned right. Both Brian, who had Ramsey sitting shotgun, and Letty who was on her own went straight on. Of course Dom headed straight for Deckard in order to carry out his revenge.

The helicopter targeted Ramsey first and shot at the car she was in. Of course they missed and sent a extremely large drone that looked more like a small plane. Frantic shouts from both Brian and Ramsey were heard over the radio but April ignored them, only waiting until she heard her name.

Roman and Tej were the closest and so Ramsey was able to swap cars. Brian however, was unable to out run the now incoming missile. Unable to do anything else, he scrambled out of his car while it was still moving. Rolling away from it just in time to see it explode.

April had unwillingly been listening to both the radios incase either Ramsey needed help or her brother. When she got confirmation that Ramsey was safely in the other car, April sighed and spun her own car around.

"Get in buster." She called out, leaning over the seat to open the passenger door.

She knew about Brian's past due to her own research she'd done on the plane. She knew how Dom had begun to like him until his identity as a cop got revealed. Then when Dom was sentenced, Brian arranged a team to break him out.

Upon the plane journey, April also discovered that Dominic Toretto was a family man through and through. He even considered his friends as family although April doubted she'd ever been considered family by Dom. She was only still in LA helping his team because of Ramsey. Well that and the problem of her brother too.

April also knew Dom was still suspicious of her. It didn't take a genius to notice the sly glances Tej gave to Dom while the former was talking to Ramsey.

Or the death stares Dominic would give April. Of course with Dom being the obvious leader, most of the others followed his example. Everyone but Brian seemed to think the same about April.

That she was working with her brother.

No matter how hard April had fought her explaination. Or how hard she denied having anything to do with her brothers plans, it never reassured the others.

As she now had Brian in her car, April was unable to take off in the event of her brother needed back up. Not only that but April had to keep a poker face regarding the earpiece in her eye that was connected to Deckards.

Relying on sounds alone, April could only guess how well her brother was doing. It sounded as if they were both fighting with bits of metal instead of guns.

Tej had instructed both April and Brian to get to a cell tower in hopes of restoring signal. Seeing it as an opportunity, April was more than happy to drop him off outside the nearest building and leave him.

By this point it was time for Ramsey to swap cars, meaning April had to come up with an excuse seen as she was closer than Letty was. Unable to think of something, she hoped her brother could wait a little longer and finally acknowledged the radio.

Letting Roman and Tej know where she was allowed them to head to her. Underneath a bridge, Ramsey climbed out of one car and into another. Once she was safely inside of April's car, the latter risked muting her radio for just a few moments.

"I have to see if he needs help." April told Ramsey, hoping her brother could hear and could give her some confirmation.

"You can't. They're already convinced you're working with him. That will just prove there theory." Ramsey argued back before un-muting the radio, stopping the conversation.

April glared at Ramsey unimpressed with her tricks but continued to attempt to outrun the drone that was still following her. Ramsey ignored the glare and watched her computer for any signs of a restored signal. Before long Brian had manged to restore some signal and Ramsey was able to resume the hack.

However, before the hack finished, April admitted that it was time for Ramsey to swap cars as the drone was getting incredibly close to them. Letty, who was the closest and the only one who was yet to try out run the drone pulled up beside April shortly after her request for help.

With a empty passenger seat once more, April turned the radio off completely and headed towards the empty parking lot Dom and Deckard were fighting in. When she arrived, the place was falling apart.

Dom was pushing his Charger to the limits as he tried to escape the building. Seeing no sign of her brother or hearing anything on the other end of his radio, April drove round the back of the building hoping for a miracle.

To her relief, she found Deckard attempting to escape his fate. Pulling up beside him, she lent over the seat and opened the passenger side door hoping he'd get the hint. Shaking his head, he continuted onwards ignoring the help April was offering.

"If you don't get in here now, I'll go get myself arrested." April warned, acknowledging the faint sirens.

April may be the youngest but the bond between the youngest and oldest sibling was said to be the strongest bond of any family. It didn't matter how the bond appeared to function on the surface, just out of sight was maternal like instincts that not even the nastiest person could ignore.

Deckard stoic exterior cracked slightly at the idea of his youngest sister going to jail and so he reluctantly got in the car.

"Couldn't have chosen a better car?" Deckard asked her while taking in the basic design.

"It was all they had on such a short notice." She snapped back with an eye roll.

The sibling duo fell into a peaceful silence only broken by the occasional sound of sirens in the distance. Only it didn't last, the sirens became louder. They became clearer.

They were tailing April and her brother before they even reached the edge of the city. It soon became clear that they weren't going to outrun the police.

Not both of them at least...

"Stop the car." Deckard demanded to which April ignored.

"April please. Stop the car." Deckard begged.

When his pleading and begging failed to get a response, he pulled the hand brake, forcing April to apply the foot brake.

Before she could say anything Deckard got out the car.

"Drive and don't look back." He ordered her with such authority that she didn't dare disobey him.
