Chapter 9

*6 months later*

April received a series of healthy bank transfers and was able to trade her BMW for a relatively new jaguar, equipped with plenty of modifications designed to let her win every street race with ease.

*12 months later*

Driving through the streets of London late one evening, April's phone rang.

Unknown number.

Upon answering, she was met with a familar American accent.

"How soon can you be at London airport?" The voice of Dominic Toretto asked.

"Half an hour. You got a job for me?" April asked, placing her phone on speaker and heading for the airport.

"Job for the team." Dom replied ending the call before April could ask anymore questions.

*Berlin*

April found herself once more being chased by the cops, only this time she was in an Audi RS 6 and had a team of drivers either side of her. Tej had rigged up a giant wrecking ball to take out the cops allowing the team split up.

April followed Dom and Luke Hobbs, the cop that had her brother arrested, who had the EMP they had been tasked with stealing from Berlin. As the trio reached open road, Dominic took one look at Luke before steering his car into his truck.

With the weight of the EMP, the truck ended up sideways in a ditch in seconds, April's Audi in a similar state nearby. With both drivers stuck someway, Dom was able to claim the EMP for himself.

"Dom, don't do this." April shouted, only to be ignored.

Luke tried to get Dom to stop as well but as neither one could move, it was useless. Dom left with the EMP, not caring that the cops wouldn't hesitate on making an arrest.

April heard over the radio Luke tell the others Dominic Toretto had gone rouge. Letty wanted to go after him. Ramsey wanted to save April, despite the fact neither were taking to each other.

"It's too late for us." April told the others before turning the radio off and waiting for the inevitable.

*1 week later*

April and Luke found themselves in bright orange jumpsuits, walking towards on of the highest security prisons in America. Luke had tried to explain April's innocence multiple times but the evidence said otherwise, therefore she found herself with the same fate.

Jail time.

The prison officers paraded the newly announced criminals through the prison, until they reached two empty cells. One opposite and one next to an occupied cell.

Occupied by someone Luke didn't want to see and someone April didn't want to see with glass stuck between them.

Deckard Shaw.

His full focus was solely on the cop that put him behind the very glass infront of him. The two rivals began arguing through the glass, each showing off in a way that would have made April chuckle if not for the fact she didn't want the attention.

"Can you two fucking shut up." April snapped when the bickering got too much.

Deckard paused mid way though a comment, his head slowly turning to his left. He blinked once, his jaw ticked, April watched him swallow before he turned away and let loose on Hobbs.

He blamed Luke.

"It wasn't his fault. I was with the others in Berlin to steal an EMP, when Dominic stole it off him." April explained pointing at Luke. "Dom then left me and Luke in a ditch for the cops to arrest." April finished.

"I think I'd rather Luke arrested you." Deckard muttered, refusing to meet his sister eye.

A moment passed and Lukes cell door opened. He looked to the CCTV and said something while security guards ran to keep him in place. All April had to do was glance at her brother to know he was thinking a similar thing to her.

Both siblings reached through the bars of their cell doors. Grabbing hold of an electric rod each, their moments synchronised, and placed it atop of the cell door. They fried the electricity of the cell doors.

Of all the cell doors.

In the entire prison.

Wasting no time with a final glance in Lukes direction, April took off running the path her brother cleared ahead. All Luke could do was watch in horror as Deckard made his escape. That was until anger took hold and he knocked all the guards out in a matter of a few punches.

Chasing after the siblings proved harder as every criminal was free to roam the prison. Every prisoner that Luke Hobbs had ever put behind bars.

"I've been waiting a long time for this." One of the inmates growled, holding a knife up ready for blood.

"Keep waiting, Bitch." Luke replied, effortlessly slamming the door closed on the inmates wrist.

The inmates kept coming at the 3 escapees, making their aim harder. Deckard found it hard to keep both himself and his sister safe while April found it increasingly hard to fight off the amount of inmates and guards.

At one point April found herself with a guard between her legs, her ankles twisted together around his neck. The next minute, she was using her body weight to send him to the floor.

Untwisting her legs, April was forced to swiftly move to avoid an attack from an inmate. The punch missed, giving April a split second to send a counter attack.

A right hook to his jaw sent the inmate to the ground while a slightly impressed Deckard watched briefly.

A moment later, Luke Hobbs joined the siblings by jumping from the floor above. This caused April to roll her eyes while she made her way through the inmates to her brother, knowing the two could do more damage side by side rather than across one an other.

Luke raced to Deckard hoping to reach him before April did. Deckard took one look at his sister before changing direction and following Lukes example.

"Fuck sake." April muttered watching her brother and the ex cop run to each other, hoping to once more tear chucks out of the other.

April somehow managed to get inbetween them, allowing the guards to surround them. Both Deckard and Luke were ready to tear each other apart but something stopped them.

Something other than April.

Someone.

Mr Nobody walked through a door April hadn't noticed, looking st his watch somewhat surprised.

"Took you long enough." He commented.
