// Introduction + First Scenario //

I wanted to make a new book dedicated to RPs that specifically takes inspiration from short horror stories or horror manga. Good references for what I mean would be the short story for Two-faced Charade, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, or any horror manga written by Junji Ito.
Though, at times, there may be ideas/imagines, written that aren't necessarily focused on horror, but will likely have darker themes as the inspiration regardless.

If you ever want a scenario written for Eve, for any fandom of theirs, please, let me know, and I'll find some inspiration and write it here.

For this first chapter, I was thinking that as a simple basis, we could do a scenario based on/inspired by the second Tomie story. You of course don't have to read it or anything if you haven't already, since I definitely understand that reading really shouldn't be forced since it would take the enjoyment out of the story.

I'll write my plot basis below the photo.

The Accidental Photograph:

Kiku was very much in love with a boy, and often, she'd ask to take his picture so she'd have some of him.
She's too shy to confess her love for him, and so, these photos are her way of loving him.

One day, a mysterious boy comes into town. He's considered handsome, albeit snobbish and strict. Despite this, many fall for him and linger around him.

One day, after Kiku asks if she can take a photo of her crush, and he poses for her, this other man ends up in the picture. And to Kiku's horror, in the photo, he has a grotesque second face.

The man, having noticed Kiku took his photo, immediately makes a scene, exclaiming that Kiku did so purposefully and demands anyone who has morality still, to make sure the picture gets deleted.
And to Kiku's surprise, people actually act on this. This man has to have a strong hold, an inhuman hold, to manage to make people believe an accidental picture was infringing on his privacy.

Kiku though, uses her short height to her advantage and uses it to sneak and duck away, getting home.

By the time she's back home, she's certain that everything has calmed since no one is at her door.
If the man was still mad, certainly at least one person would have actually come to her home to harass her about the photo she took.

Once she's taken a shower and gotten changed for the night, she decides to examine the picture, she zooms in on the picture and further investigates the grotesque second face that had formed on the man.
The picture was steady, this was certainly the case because her crush was in focus. So there shouldn't have been such a horrid mess up causing a second face on the other man... No, this shouldn't have happened at all.
So why did he have such a disturbing face attached to him in the image? Was it because of his inhuman nature that no one seemed to notice, too charmed by him to see it?

Hesitating briefly, she soon decides to send the photo to her crush, wanting to show the horrible photo she had captured just a few hours before. Maybe talking to who she loved would ease her mind.

They end up spending the night talking about it, and she feels eased enough to fall asleep.

When she wakes up the next day, it's to the ringing of her phone. It's her crush.

She answers, and he tells her that she ought to stay home that day because that man is still upset, and he still wants the photo deleted, even though Kiku hasn't shared it with anyone but him. He's afraid the man is so mad he'd use some of his goons to harass and possibly assault Kiku, all to get that photo deleted before it ends up being spread.
He tells her to just stay home, and that in a few hours, he'll bring her over some takeout that they can share while watching a movie.

She waits a few hours, and when he arrives, announcing himself, something he promised to do so she wouldn't open the door to potential danger, she doesn't hesitate to answer the door.

However, to her utter shock and horror, she's greeted not only by him but the other man as well. And she's utterly terrified, because despite how handsome the other man is, just looking at him, she can feel his malintent, and from her crush, despite how cheery he seems, she can feel that he too intends to harm her.

The other man just unnerves her as he steps inside her home, her crush following after. His grin, which seemed so outwardly warm and charming, to her, felt like the mouth of a monster, awaiting to open itself and swallow her whole.
And then there was her crush. His eyes felt piercing as they eyed her up and down, his tongue momentarily dragging across his bottom lip.

Scared, she immediately tries to run out the door, but she's stopped, each man hooking her arms, dragging her back inside, her front door ending up locked.

Hugging onto a pillow, having been dragged to the living room, she peers between the two. It's obvious to her that her crush is under the other man's influence and that she's not safe. Why was her crush under his influence? Was it romantic? Was it admiration? She didn't know. She just knew the one person she had divulged her concerns to wasn't on her side.
In fact, she was beginning to believe he had been on the other man's side since the night before and that he had just been gathering information from her for him. He had used her.

All she can hope for now is that she doesn't die and doesn't end up under the man's influence herself.
