// The Family Curse //

Apologies if you see two updates- I made another chapter, but ended up unpublishing it.

Anyway, this chapter is based on another Junji Ito story series about a boy named Souichi. To put it plainly, he's a very bratty young boy who's interested in the occult and knows how to perform curses, even using them on his own family, as well as having caused injury and pain to multiple people throughout the series.
And it's implied in a dream Souichi has, that he doesn't change when he gets older.

My idea for this chapter would be for Slade, Jude, and Kiku.

Imagine if Slade was kinda similar to Souichi. Perhaps not a brat(Unless you want to depict him as such), who's always been very odd and into the macabre. Jude loves Slade despite this, though it wouldn't be uncommon for the two to have spats since Slade and Jude, while very alike, are also very different. Such as Slade being far more blunt and mean, while Jude bites his tongue to appear as a gentleman.
Or Slade, given his interest in the dark, practices spells and curses, and already being inhuman, masters them pretty easily. So, on occasion, Jude gets cursed when he pisses his son off, or, Slade will curse or terrify someone who crossed him or his father.
Slade's nails would always be sharp(Like a werewolf's), and he would seem very wolf-like, even embracing these qualities because they relate to that darkness he loves so much.

So, one day, Jude brings Kiku home to Slade. Why? Because he's noticed his son has taken a strong interest in this woman. He often catches Slade watching her and keeping an eye on her as if she's a doll of his.
Jude brings Kiku back there as a rouse of him inviting a neighor over for dinner. But yeah- That's not the case at all. He's basically taking her there so she can be his son's because, god, it would be a reprieve for him to have finally found someone else that Slade can actually tolerate and deal with.

So, how is the girl greeted? Slade literally terrifies her, intentionally. That doesn't mean she's leaving though, because Jude damn sure isn't going to let her leave when he knows that Slade likes her.
Nope, so despite how creepy Slade initially acts(Macabre talk, dark humor, how he physically acts, etc), Kiku isn't able to leave because Jude just needs her to be there so Slade will focus on something else other than him, the occult, and cursing and hating people.
