"Lizard's Tail" is a reference to Tomie. I did some reading, and Junji Ito got the idea for Tomie based on the Lizards whose tails could be cut off and then regrown.
Also, while I haven't yet been able to read the Ring novels, I realized that the Ring series and Tomie have some similarities. Mainly in the Ring Series, Sadako(After she's reborn) and Tomie, both have multiple copies of themselves.
Though, Sadako, if she has a child with someone, the child is their own person and not a copy of her.
Just thought it was interesting that the novel series Sadako and Tomie, actually have some similarities. This chapter is inspired by three different series, Ring, Tomie, and Girl from Nowhere since they all have some similarities, with the most similarities probably being between Tomie and Girll From Nowhere.
This also gave me an idea
Fandom:
Scream - AU
Characters:
Slade - A mixture of Tomie and Nanno(Girl from Nowhere, represents Karma) primarily.
Kiku - She's probably the most like Tomie in this one.
Charlie - A mix of Sadako and Tomie mainly.
Stu
Billy
Scenario:
My idea is that one night, Billy and Stu try to kill Kiku for one reason or another, likely because she was suspicious of them, or perhaps knew something.
The next day, she comes back and acts as if nothing happened. She tells them she needs to babysit Charlie, and that she brought her boyfriend over. This being Slade.
Neither could recall her having previously had a boyfriend, hell, Stu always thought she would never get over him.
And to Billy and Stu, Slade seems creepy. He seems to have an unbreakable hold over Kiku.Though, thinking maybe they were so paranoid they imagined the night before, they let it go, not wanting to open a can of worms.
Every time Kiku comes over, Slade seems to be with her. The two boys notice that they feel oddly drawn to Kiku in a way they never had been before. They also feel drawn to Slade despite how much they dislike him.
They don't understand it, and both try to ignore these feelings.Charlie seems immune though, playing his normal routine of wanting to be with his "Mommy" as he had dubbed her, and attempting to get Billy and Stu to acknowledge him.
One day though, things turn awry.
When Charlie discovers that Billy and Stu did something bad to his "Mommy" having found her bloodied clothing they buried in the backyard, he threatens to call the police on them.
Kiku was the only person that Charlie was willing to turn against Billy and Stu for.In a panic when they see Charlie grab a phone, they two end up killing him, something Billy never thought he'd have to do. After all, it was rare that children died in scary movies. It was a taboo to some extent. And even worse, this was his baby brother.
They leave to get supplies to clean up the mess, but while they're out, Kiku and Slade come over, and they find the mess...
When Stu and Billy return home, they find Kiku holding Charlie's limp body in her arms, and Slade with her.
Both of course feel panic surge through them. Sure, they could handle a child, but both Kiku and Slade? That wouldn't be easy.
But, before they could say anything, little Charlie startled up and started coughing.
And likely to Billy and Stu's horror, he looked healthier than ever before, cuter than ever before. Even though, he should have been dead.
They knew he was dead when they left, they had checked his pulse. They had listened for his heartbeat. They watched for movement. There had been nothing.Smiling, Kiku hugged Charlie close, gently playing with his hair.
"Mommy promised you that she'd never leave you, oh, now you truly are my baby." She stated. The night Billy and Stu killed Kiku, Slade, who had been watching her, brought her back to life, making her like him. He himself was inhuman.
And that night, Slade helped Kiku bring back Charlie. And now Billy and Stu had gotten themselves into a big mess because there was no telling what may happen next.
After all, regardless of whether Charlie was back or not, they had hurt Kiku's baby. And Charlie may not be too forgiving of what they did to him either.~
The scenario would start there.
