Okay, for a while now, I've kinda had a little idea for Kiku x Slade, as well as Kiku x Jude, partially inspired/based on, the Ring.
So, I finally decided to try and write out that idea.

For reference, since it's not seemingly as well known, Ringu was actually based on a novel series, and so, my main idea is based primarily on Ringu 1998(There actually is a TV film based on the Ring that predates Ringu by a few years, so RIngu isn't even the first adaptation).
Some aspects are based on the book series though.

Imagine/Scenario:

Given it's said that Lyra didn't want Slade due to him being inhuman, a curse, this really reminds me of Sadako and her parents.
Her mother(Like Jude is inhuman), also had mental/inhuman abilities like Sadako, though not as strong.
Her father was human(Possibly, it's implied Sadako may not have truly been his daughter but something inhuman entirely).

Sadako, as a child alone, had the ability to kill using just her mind. And when she did this at a demonstration where her mother was showing off her powers, killing a man who called her mother a fraud, her mother was blamed for the death and eventually fell into such a deep depression, that she committed suicide, leaving Sadako with her father.
Her father eventually kills her due to how she is.

I thought it could be interesting if Slade after Lyra abandons him and Jude, is unable to hide his inhuman features and abilities as he grows up.
And it's not solely because he doesn't want to, but because it's too hard to as well.

Throughout Slade's life, Jude struggles with his inhuman son. Slade has abilities he doesn't, and they scare him.

What scares Jude most though, isn't Slade's abilities and inhuman features, but how Slade embraces being different.

And as Slade gets older, his and Jude's relationship becomes more and more strained, with Slade not wanting to conceal himself for his father any longer.

What really strains the relationship to a breaking point is that Jude struggles with how he feels for Slade.
He doesn't know if he should love or hate him.
Especially since the woman he loved left him because their son was different.

One day(Slade is an adult by this point), the two get into a fight that results in Jude killing his only son.

Feeling remorse though, he finds a way to let Slade "live" on in a sense, by beginning a curse that allows Slade to continue to exist.

There are only a few ways to escape/survive the curse.
The main ones are either passing the curse to another person by copying the curse onto a tape, DVD, or other visual media and giving it to them(And if not, you die) or if Slade were to have children who would in a sense, be cursed like him, carrying all the same abilities as him. This would allow the "curse" to survive for as long as Slade has descendants.
But who the hell would agree to that?

One day, someone realizes that Jude was the one who began the curse. And as karma, he's sent a copy of the tape that carries the curse.
Jude of course realizes someone has copied the curse, and so, not wanting to be a victim to his vengeful son, he makes his own copy and gives it to his unwitting assistant.

The girl, after four days(I know the original is 7 days, but given the relation of 4 and death in Japan, I thought four could be a unique take), comes face to face with Slade.

But, perhaps Kiku's morbid taste may just save her life?

I hope my explanation/idea came across well!
