Remus felt something churn inside him looking at her innocent, beautiful little face from that angle. He swallowed the words he was going to say and replied instead with "Now that you mention it, it does sound kind of familiar. Talk about it a bit more, maybe it'll jog my memory."

"Well, about 20-25 years ago, Amber Entertainment was one of the best Entertainment companies of Nation L. They produced film empresses one after another, and practically all the movies they invested in got double the profits. Everyone was very proud of my father, and life was going great for me then. I was surrounded by the love and care of my mom and dad, and I couldn't have asked for more."

Corinna started letting go of her tears again. Her voice was wobbling so much that Remus hugged her tighter, hoping she would continue speaking and reel in her emotions. "B-But that's when e-everything w-went downhill." She started bawling at this point. She went into detail about how Amber Entertainment was actually a subsidiary of Runyon Co. She described how the evil Tyrant, Leon Runyon, destroyed her family, her peace, her life.

Because he framed her father to go to jail for company embezzlement, her mother committed suicide and she was forced to become an orphan. She sobbed hard and explained all the misfortune she experienced in the orphanage, specifically how starved she was in the first two weeks because of the older kids stealing her food.

Remus felt his heart wrench when he heard her sobs while sharing her story. He didn't know what to say. What could he say? He lived a pampered life all throughout his life, so how was he supposed to connect with the fallen heiress of a family? He actually remembered this Entertainment company. It was renamed as Empire Media, and it is still one of the best entertainment companies of Nation L today, still a subsidiary of Runyon Co.

Obviously Corinna didn't talk about what happened to those kids who stole her food. Was it even worthy to mention the small things she did to those kids who stole her food? No way. It wasn't anything compared to what those kids did to her. Daring to steal my food? They're insane! Besides, she had to do those things to scare the other children and live well in the orphanage.

She explained in vivid detail how on the day of her 18th birthday she was so happy she was finally an adult so she could escape the terrible life she was having. And that's when she met Mr. Silber, who changed her life for the good. She met Elan, and she even met Remus, all because of her fateful 18th birthday.

She spilled honeyed words to Remus, talking about how ever since she met him her life's been getting better and better. She chose to briefly mention Ayla and Mrs. Silber, talking about how although they bullied her, it was all worth it because she had Remus, Elan, and Mr. Silber on her side.

Remus felt beyond touched on how much credit his dear Rinna was giving him. He felt so proud that the little woman in front of him was his, all his. His eyes darkened when he heard Rinna mention Ayla and her mom. He can't believe he tried to listen to his father's words back then to deliberately get close to Ayla so the Hart family could have a connection to the Hayes and Silber families.

He felt nothing but disgust on thinking how he went on dates with Ayla, and even almost got married to her. Luckily he never officially went through with the plan or else his poor Rinna would be suffering right now.

Corinna finally ended by saying how just like how the Runyon family destroyed her when she was younger, she was scared they would come back for her because she was the only daughter of the Gray family left alive.

Remus felt anger by that point. How could he not know the Runyon family? They were one of the top 5 families of Nation L, up to par with his Hart family. His father hated the Runyon family with all his heart. The Hart family was waiting for the day the Runyon family would fall.
