it's a perfect day to die.
joshua knew six classes and a part-time job is harsh, but he didn't know it would be the gate to hell. perhaps if he had taken easier classes, it would have been better.
ugh, i brought this upon myself. there's no one to blame but himself.
third week into the semester has gotten him huge eyebags. he almost couldn't recognize himself this morning when he looked in the mirror. his once perfect skin is now rough and pale.
his working schedule is starting to piss him off. his manager wouldn't let him choose his desired time and days to work. apparently, the rule is that only full-timers are allowed flexibility. like, that's the most stupidest thing he has ever heard.
on the other hand, his professors have no resilience when it comes to assignments and tests.
joshua's friends have been hanging out without him because of his tight schedule. it sucks, but the group chat is a lot for active now. seungkwan and dokyeom calls him to just talk often too.
i miss those clowns. should i just quit my part-time?
honestly, joshua can just quit anytime and look for another part-time. the work schedule and the especially the manager are not ideal. he doesn't even know why he hasn't quit yet.
speaking of friends, yoon jeonghan is truly a mystery. at least to him.
it's not like joshua is purposely paying close attention to the curly-haired male. if anything, it's the opposite. however, it's not so easy when he has a class with him.
from what he sees, that guy has no friends. well, except seungcheol. he doesn't talk or look at anyone during class. besides the time when he sat two seats away from joshua for the sake of bringing the younger to seungcheol, he distances himself away from people. during lunch, he is nowhere in sight. sometimes, seungcheol leaves the group to go eat with him.
joshua doesn't dislike him. it's just that first impression is hard to forget, and joshua is not good with those type of people. minghao has a similar personality, but something about jeonghan...just feels different.
speaking of the devil, yoon jeonghan appears at the classroom's entrance. joshua stares at him as the nonchalant male heads straight to the back of the room.
the bambi-eyed male prefers sitting in the first row. it's more convenient since he can see the projector without having heads blocking his sight.
whatever. i shouldn't care. we're not close to each other. he shrugs and goes back to waiting for the professor to show up.
an hour goes by quickly and joshua is on his feet ready to go to the last class of the day. there is a quiz today, and he is well-prepared.
the quizzes are easy, but the fact that they are quizzes is killing me. because even if they're easy, studying is still needed.
