writing long chapters can take you a lot of time and the chances of making time skips in a chapter are higher. So, I would say make your chapters just a little shorter.
don't make your chapters like only 100 words!
If you make chapters from 1000 words, try and make chapters from 500 words.z
If you have shorter chapters your reader will finish your chapter faster, that will feel like a victory for the reader and they will keep the motivation to read your book.
The chance of your readers not knowing where they were in your book wil also be smaller!
And you will get more reads!
