In the middle of the night when everyone's asleep, I'm awake
AM: I close my door, trying to keep my feet quiet on the cold floor
AM: I'm reading a book, thinking about all the side characters who are overlooked
AM: I sighed, wondering if I'll ever become a bride
AM: I'm lying, trying not to feel like I'm crying
AM: I am watching my comfort TV show, which I started watching ages ago
AM: I hear the stirring of my family members getting up for the brand new day, while I still lie awake, wishing I could take back the mistake of staying awake
