Petra's POV

Everything was dark. I felt Levi's arm wrap around my waist as we both fell asleep on his bed. The whole incident that took place just awhile ago really did deteriorate our strength; mentally and physically.

"Levi, are you still awake?" I whispered.

"Somewhat" he softly groaned and opened his navy blue orbs. "What is it love?"

I blushed lightly then touched his cheek with the tip of my fingers.

"Nothing, I just wanted to know if you were up" I proclaimed as he placed his hand on top of mine.

I had no idea on how I could tell him, I didn't even know if it was preferable time to. The infant that was developing inside my womb would soon appear, especially since I've notice my baby bumps been growing everyday. I was scared to tell him; what would his reaction be? What would he do?-

"Petra are you alright?" Levi snapped me out of my deep thoughts.

"Um, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking." I answered as I slowly closed my eyes.

"Of what?" he questioned while caressing my orange strands out of my face.

"I'll tell you when the time is right" I breathlessly spoke then dozed off.

"Goodnight, I love you" Levi lastly said and did the same.

The next morning, I woke up to the warm rays of the sun that brush over my skin and luminated the area. I raised my upper body off the matress then realized Levi wasn't beside me. I rubbed my peepers and heeded the piece of paper on the night stand. It must be from Levi.

"Petra,
It's a shame I can't be with you at this moment since Erwin ordered me and other recruits to go superficial mission since wall Maria has been breached, I was planning on bring you along but strangely, Erwin denied your assistance; what an asshole he is. I'll come back as soon as possible.
                Levi"

After reading the letter, I held the paper close to my chest and prayed for him to be ok even though I know he's strong, only god knows what'll happen.

"Hey Petra!" Hanji unexpectedly bursted through the door.

"Han, what are you doing here?!" I dimly shouted towards the titan loving woman.

"I volunteered to stay back with you" she oddly winked at me.

"That doesn't sound like you, why didn't you go?" I peculiarly raised my eyebrow.

"Ok, confession time. I was going to go but then I overheard Erwin wanting Levi to bring his squad which includes you but...." the glasses wearing chick trailed off making me suspicious

"Spill it Hanji" I neared closer to her face, making the brunette anxious

"Well...I told him to exclude since" she nervously tapped her index fingers together.

"What did you say?" I attempted not to yell

"I told him you were carrying" She finally admitted.

"You did WHAT?!" I fiercely ran my hands through my hair, while Hanji backed away; fearing I would smack her.

"I was looking out for you, I'm sorry I broke the promise" she casted her eyes down.

I took a deep breath then looked at her and faintly smiled.

"I know you were. Thank you." I calmly communicated back.

"So you're not mad?" Hanji stepped forward.

"Everyone's going to find out sooner or later" I sighed, laying my head back onto the pillow.

"Does anybody in your family know?" she then inquired.

This made my ears ring. Even though I'm was an only child and my mom had passed away, I still have my father.

"Hanji? Do you think we can visit my dad today?" I desperately interrogated.

"What are you waiting for, lets go!" Hanji cheerfully bounced.

After getting dressed, me and Hanji secretly headed out, passing some of the scout guards then took a carriage.

"So are you excited to tell him?" the girl with cocoa colored eyes blurted.

"I'd define myself a little more timid" I put my chin on my palm, looking out the window.

"Well if I was your papa, I would start dancing in glee or possibly do a flip" Hanji moved her arms like a noodle and smiled widely, making me explode in laughter.

"You're too adorable Han" I grinned and started to dance along with her.

Shortly, the the four wheel transportation came to a stop and arrived to the town where my father lived. We both got off the carriage and paid the man about 10 bucks for the ride.

"So where does your old man stay?" the brunette placed her arm around my should.

"Follow me"

I led us from one street to the next until we reached a small house that was surrounded by bigger ones.

"Here it is" I present the home.

"So this is where you grew? It's so cute!" she sqeakled

"Thanks, just wait until you see the man who raised me"

I knock three times on the door but there was no answer. 'Hmm that's weird'. Then suddenly, the sound of footsteps trudge to the door; the steel knob turned and revealed an elder gentlemen with brown hair and wrinkles that outlined his eyes.

"Petra you've come home!!" My father hollered as he gave me a tight embrace and kissed my cheek.

"Its good to see you too dad"
