Chapter seven

It had been almost two weeks since Ivy had talked to the Cullen's. Alice was upset but understood where she was coming from. The two planned their prom dress shopping this Sunday and Alice wasn't sure if Ivy was going to go.

Alice, Esme, and Edward were the only ones who accepted Ivy and Bella from the moment that they met. The others knew the two were their dad and brother's mates but didn't like the thought of a human joining their family. So when the cat was out of the bag the rest of the Cullen's were pissed at Bella for pushing this onto her sister.

There were many nights that Carlisle, Edward, and Alice would argue with the rest of their family. Esme kept quiet because she had a huge secret that only Edward and Alice knew. The others thought that Esme still hadn't found her mate but she had. She's seen him walking around but never actually "met" him until the family went to Ivy's first lacrosse game. She didn't know how to tell the family that her mate was Bella and Ivy's dad.

"She's not one of us, Edward," Emmett said sitting next to Rosalie, "You and Carlisle need to let them go."

"I don't think you need to get your hopes up over some silly little love story. It's not going to work out. We all know how this is going to end," Jasper added.

"You seem to be forgetting that without him you would be dead right now," Edward argued looking at Emmett.

"What are you going to do in the future? Do you have plans to marry her? Turning her? What are you going to do," Rosalie asked Carlisle.

"Rosalie!! You do realize that if Carlisle never turned you two then you both would have never met?! Why are you attacking him when you all were humans once," Alice snapped, "Dad deserves to be happy as much as you do!! He's been alive two centuries longer than you have! You have no right to be yelling at him when he has finally after three centuries found his mate. The person he's destined to spend the rest of his life with!! Your selfishness is going to get you in trouble one day!"

She usually kept calm during these arguments but she has had enough. She thought the others were being very hypocritical and didn't care if what she was saying was out of character.

"And for Edward!! You and Emmett waited the least amount of time to be with you mate. You both are the youngest in the room right now. You don't know what it's like to wait YEARS for the person you love. I can't even begin to imagine how happy Dad and Edward are. Esme is still waiting for her mate and she's been patiently waiting for a century. I can't wait for her to find hers. I will be so happy when the family becomes whole. When we became family I thought we promised to never intervene in each other's romantic life. Clearly, you all lied about that," Alice yelled before running into the woods.

Jasper went to get up and follow her but Esme stopped him. She gave him the mom look and he left and went to his room. The others fall in suit.

That was the last argument they had. There was obvious tension in the family. It had been two days since they'd talked to each other. The children got in the car silently. Alice rode with Edward today seeing as the two were on speaking terms. Edward driving to Bella's house. The two started dating the day he told Ivy he was a vampire. He's been picking up Bella every day so far since then. As he waited outside Alice got out of the car and got in the back.

But as soon as she opened the door she heard their Swan's front door open. She looked up and smiled at Bella. But was shocked to see Ivy following right behind her. Alice then noticed that Ivy's car was not in the driveway.
