NBA Youngboy's Mansion
Los Angeles, California
10:15amDiamontè Quiava Harper's POV:
"You growin' so much Bailei girl." I spoke to my unborn child. "4 months left 'till you here Bae."
I recorded a video to add to my pregnancy files. I've been documenting the whole journey.
I've been trapped at Kentrell's house for about 2 weeks now. It's been hard, but I've been tryna stay up for my baby.
The only good thing about being here is that it worked as a good hideout from my real life, and my real problems. Nobody could reach me here, even if I wanted. All visits had to be approved by Kentrell's parole officer first.
Kentrell don't want nobody here anyway.
I barely be seeing that nigga though. I'd seen him in passing probably like 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and I prefer it that way. Whenever he says something to me, I ignore him. I'm not gone let him control me how he wants to.
Kentrell stays in his studio most of the time, or he be somewhere round this house with his hoes.
As long as he's out my face, I'm cool. I don't care where he at, or what he's doin'. My only focus is Bailei, aka Baby Bae. That's what I've been calling my little girl.
I've been able to complete a lot of my college work too. This was weirdly serving as some sort of productive meditation retreat for me.
I brushed my teeth, did my skin care routine, then took a shower. I made my hair presentable before I went down to the kitchen to get a fresh bottle of water to take my pregnancy supplements.
I swallowed a Folic Acid pill to increase my maternal folate status. My doctor had told me Folic Acid is considered one of the most important nutrients for pregnant women. Low maternal folate status is a huge risk factor in the development of my baby's neural tube defects.
I told y'all I ain't playin' 'bout Baby Bae, I got the knowledge. I been reading and researching every single day.
Jaz walked into the kitchen with her babies hot on her trail. Love was crying with her arms raised wanting to be picked up. Jaz picked Love up, then intentionally made eye contact with me.
"Good morning." Jaz smiled.
"Hey gworl." I said simply, then turned away from her, closing the Folic Acid bottle back up.
