Chapter 6

I wake up to the sound of birds chirping and an unusual sound. what is it? I sit up and head downstairs, where I here the faint sounds of frying. I walk into the kitchen and I am come to a halt when I hear

"Say what you're feeling and say it now

And time is irrelevant when I've not been seeing you
The consequences are falling now
There's something I'm having nightm-"

Suddenly Josh stops, his face turning red.

"how long have you been stood there?" wow he sounds horrified. I try to hold in my laugh when I tell him

"Long enough to know you lovvee me" I say, teasing him.

"shut up" he says. "If you don't im gonna hit you over the head with this frying pan, rapunzel style."

"okay okay okay!" My hands are in the air, accepting defeat "you win."

"I know"

we talk for a while until I notice the time.

"SHIT! I've got to go get ready! school starts in 20 minutes!" I say, bolting up the stairs. I dash into the bathroom and I swear I break the world record for world's quickest shower. I throw on my clothes from yesterday and run downstairs.

"I've got to go home and get changed. I'll see you around Josh. Thank you so much for letting us crash here last night" I tell him.

"It's no problem." he hands me a pick post-it note "heres MY number, instead of Connor's. text me"

"Sure. Tell Maddie I have to go. She's always late so i'm not even gonna bother waking her up" I tell him. "bye Josh"

"Bye liv"

I run out of the house and into my car. I speed home and sprint upstairs. I grab the first outfit I see and throw it on. I grab my backpack and my purse and then run out. Only when I get into the car do I realise what I'm wearing. I'm wearing a jacket I've never seen before. so where do I recognise it from. Then it hits me. I've seen Josh wear it. So why do I have it. I don't have time to think about it so I speed off. I'm also wearing a white shirt and camo jeans. As I arrive to school, my friends rush to me.

"LIV WHAT IS THIS!" bella shouts

"what is what?" I'm really confused. Bella looks at her phone and starts reading an article.

"Josh Hutcherson seen with a girl at A local grocery store. could this be josh's new love interest" and a picture of me and him running out of the store. They obviously cut connor and Maddie out.
"Are you dating Josh Hutcherson?!" Emma shouts.

"WHAT! NO! It was purely coincidental that I ran into him at the store" they're crazy, honestly.

"Then why is he holding your hand?" they both ask me

"what no he's no-" shit. I didn't even notice. "okay maybe he is but only because he was pulling me out of the store so I didn't get trampled by a bunch of fan girls!"

"Well why do you seem so calm?!" Emma asks me.

"Because I met him on Friday night. His car broke down outside of my house so he came and borrowed my phone to call him mom and he took a shower" I tell them calmly

"WHAT! NO WAY! JOSH HUTCHERSON WAS IN YOUR HOUSE?! HOW DID MADDIE REACT?" they ask

"Oh Maddie freaked out, it was hilarious"

Suddenly the bell rings and I go to class. Just as my teacher is about to close the door, Maddie comes sprinting in.

"Mrs Fisher, why are we so late?" asks my teacher
