Broken Promise

"I dump your ass"

Mike stands shocked as he saw El and Max walks away. He can't believe that El just break up with him. All over a simple lie. She promised  that she will never leave him when she return after 353 days. And now she just dump him so easily. He was walking silently with his friends.

"Hey man," Will said,"Are you okay? "
Lucas said," Does he look okay to you Will? "
Dustin said,"I know what to cheer you up. How about a boys night."
"I need some alone time " Mike said.
"Mike we want to...."Will cuts of by Lucas.
" It's okay Mike. We understand ".Lucas said.

Mike return to his house and walks down to the basement. He saw the blanket fort he built for El. He hasn’t take it down. He went inside it and crawled up.

Meanwhile, El and Max was having a great time.

" Hey El, tell me about your first kiss,"Max asks.
"Well,my first kiss was my boyfriend Mike, " El said while smiling.
"You mean Ex boyfriend, " Max said.

El gets hit by the word. She read some stories and watch some movies where a boyfriend and a girlfriend broke up and become ex. They never get togather and at the end they lose each other. Mike is her Ex now. Will she lose him too?

"El? Earth to El" Max asks,"What are you thinking? "
El snapps out,"Hey let's see what Mike doing after the break up."
"That's a good idea." Max said,Let's see if he crying or not. "

That hits El again. Mike will be crying? She quickly sets the radio  in statics and tie a blindfold around her eyes. She saw Mike is sitting  inside the blanket fort holding his knee. Tears floating down from his eyes. El's heart sank like titanic. She only saw him like this when she saw him through the Void in those long devastated 353 days. She saw Mike whispering something. She tried to hear what he is saying.

"You will never leave me " Mike whispering, "You promised. And here you just left me like that.You broke your promise "

El froze in shock. She just broke one of the biggest promise she made. All she wanted to get Mike's attention back. But she ended up breaking the promise. She quickly take of the blindfold.

"What happened El?" Max asks,"What he is doing? "

El doesn’t say anything. All she was thinking that She needs to go to Mike.She looks at Max.

"I have to go." All she said before run out leaving  a confused Max in her room.

She runs all the way to Mike's house she don’t know how. She stopped to breath before knocking.

Nancy opens the door and saw El.

"El what are you doing here? "Nancy asks.
" Mike,"She said,"I need to see Mike."
"Mike is in the base...." She cuts off as El runs to basement in the speed of light.

She opens the basement door and runs down. As soon as Mike saw El he quickly gets up.

"El! ", Mike said," What are you doing here?"

El was staring at him. Her heart shattered into pieces as she Mike's red eyes and under them the wet trails of tears.
She runs to Mike and hugs him so tight as like her life depends on it. Mike was shocked but hugs back.
El started crying in Mike's chest.

"I am sorry Mike," she said." Please forgive me."
"Why are you apologizing for? " Mike asks, "I am the one who lied to you."
"I am apologising for dumping your ass," She said.

Mike stays silent.

"I promised that i will never leave you but i broke it," El said.

Mike doesn’t say anything.

"Please Mike, " El begged,"please forgive me."

Mike still doesn’t say anything.

"If you don’t want to forgive me then don’t, " El beggs," At least yell at me but still say something, please."
"I can't loose you El,please don’t leave me again,"  Mike said.
"You won't loose me, " El said,"I won't leave you. I promise."
" You promised last time,"Mike said,"And you broke it."
"I am so sorry Mike," El cried,"I promise i won’t do it again."

Mike Couldn't stay mad at her. It's true that she hurts him by dumping him but it hurts him even more seeing her like this.He hugs her tightly.

"Shhh,it's okay," He said,"I forgive you."
"You are? " El looks at his eyes."
"Friends don’t lie," Mike smiles.

El smiles and places her head on his chest.

"Can we be girlfriend and boyfriend again," El asks.
"Of course we can, " Mike said.
