6 - Acceptance

Alex's Point of View

I wake up at 430am to my alarm and immediately shut it off, checking my notifications. Nothing too crazy for Twitter notifications but I do have a text from Dominic.

Dom Dom: Hey, I know you are most likely asleep, but did you want to meet us at the gym? We are going to a gym in Temecula that has ring for some ring conditioning. We'll be there around 6am.

Valentina: That sounds great. I'll meet you guys there for 6 🙂

Dom Dom: Great, see you there. I want to talk to you when we're done. Nothing bad or else I would just talk to you when I saw you. Just hang around at the gym when you are done if you aren't busy.

Valentina: Not busy at all. Will do.

I decided to text Rhea to see what he might want to talk to me about. That's going to be the only thing on my mind now. I trust that it's not bad, but what possibly could he want to talk to me about?

Valentina: Heeey, how's it going?

Goth Mami: Heeey, heading to the gym. What's up with you?

Valentina: Nothing. Getting ready to head to the gym but Dom said he wanted to talk to me. Do you know what that's about?

Goth Mami: Not a clue but I'm sure it's not bad. He would've just waited til you were in person if it was bad. He's a firm believer of not trying to make people anxious.

Valentina: Ok, thank you. I'm going to be leaving in about 20 minutes.

Goth Mami: Ok, be safe.

I get up and get dressed , texting AJ so he doesn't worry when he wakes up. I text Mami, Ethan, and Abuela too. I pack my duffle bag so I can shower at the gym and then make myself a protein shake. Once I finish my shake I fill my water bottle and get in the car starting my drive to Temecula. It's only about an hour's drive so that isn't too terrible.

An hour later I arrive at the gym and sit in the car for a moment. I don't see Dom's car so I sit in the parking lot for a moment. I check my phone just as I get a phone call from Rhea. "Hey, everything ok?" I ask. "Yeah, just wanted to know how far you are? We hit a little traffic. We'll be there in 5 minutes," She says. "I'm already there. Take your time," I say. "Ok, if you want to start stretching, go for it. If not, well it's still going to happen when we get there, you're mine to work with today and it's leg day," She says. "Ok, fun so now it's ring conditioning and killing Alex?" I ask. "No, it's ring conditioning and give Alex a killer ass. We are pulling in now," She says. She hangs up and I just sit there. So not only am I ring conditioning, I have to kill my legs and then talk to Dom. Well at least it'll be a good workout. I always look forward to talking to Dom but I'm still anxious. We aren't alone to talk very often.

I get out of the car and grab my stuff, stopping to tie up my hair so it's out of my face. "Ready?" Rhea says jumping out of the car and running up to me. "Ok, who gave Rhea speed?" I ask chuckling. She just seems really hyper. "I may have forgotten my ADHD meds in Florida... but it's ok, I'll balance out after the workout," She says jumping. "Good Morning Guys," I say. "It's only a good morning when you get to sleep in," Damian says. "Or get laid," Rhea says. Wait a minute. "So you are the assholes that wake me up?" I ask her. "What do you mean?" She asks. "I can't always tell where the moaning is coming from cause it comes from different spots but every like tuesday and saturday, if we are home I wake up to someone's sexcapades," I say. "Hehe sorry. You're probably talking about Us Day and Cardio day," She says. "Us Day and Cardio Day?" I ask. "Cardio Day is on Saturday, Us Day is on Tuesday before NXT or if we don't have NXT. It's time we set aside for just us. We normally won't check our phones too often and we either go on a date or just cuddle and watch movies. Cardio Days is for the fun types of Cardio. It keeps me flexible. Definitely helps with the rag doll effect in the ring," Rhea says smiling. "Good for you. What times so I can not be there," I ask. "I don't think you'll have that problem anymore," She says smirking. "What do you mean by that?" I ask. "Nothing. You'll see," She says. What the fuck does she mean by i'll see? I have enough to worry about. I push the thought away as we walk into the gym. "We're stretching, or whatever you do for warmups and then we're ring conditioning.
