When Tsunade realized that her son was once again with her, she felt a sense of relief. It has been a little more than half a year since she had last seen Goku. By this point, she has Goku wrapped in a bear grip and kissing him every inch of his face. Seated at a table not too far away from the scene where Tsunade and Goku were, Shizune wore a smile on her face but also a worrisome expression on his face. Because she was aware of how tough Tsunade's bear hugs can be, she was both thrilled for Tsunade and concerned for her younger brother Goku.

Goku: Mom, it is difficult for me to catch a breath. Please try to relax your embrace for me. I would appreciate that because my bones are beginning to shatter as a result of the strain that your arms are applying to me.

Goku saw Shizune not far from sitting at a table, and Goku called out to her.

Goku: I ask you, Sister, to provide a helping hand to our family.

Shizune would simply turn her head away and act as if she was not paying attention to Goku when she heard him calling out to her.

Goku: Beloved sister, Betrayal, unclear. Why have you turned on me now?

Shizune couldn't hold her laugh any more after hearing her brother speak. Shizune stood up from her seat and walked toward Tsunade and Goku. She asks Tsunade to let go of Goku since everyone in the bar is staring at them. Tsunade finally let go of Goku, and he dropped to his knees, trying to catch his breath. Shizune used her medical ninjutsu as her hands started to glow green. She placed her hands on Goku's back.

Shizune: It's not quite as terrible as I had anticipated it would be—a total of only four of your ribs are fractured. You will be entirely recovered by the time tomorrow morning rolls around.

Goku: Easy for you to say since you are not the one getting Mom's hugs.

Tsunade lowered herself and helped Goku stand.

Tsunade: Come, let's return to our table, and you can tell me everything you've been up to in these last six months.

She smiled at him and raffled his spiky hair as Tsunade, Shizune, and Goku all headed back to the table where Tsunade and Shizune were sitting.

Across the bar, both Jiraiya and Naruto lay on the floor.

Naruto: What in the world was that? All I could see was a blur that was heading in our direction, and then, a split second later, I found myself eyeing the ceiling of the bar.

Jiraiya: Come, let's get up. We found the person we were looking for.

Jiraiya and Naruto made their way toward the table where everyone was sitting. They hear Goku telling Tsunade and Shizune about the mission he went on with the other teams.

Jiraiya: Hi, Tsunade; it's been a while.

Since Tsunade solely concentrated on Goku's voice, she ignored Jiraiya. Jiraiya took a deep breath as he realized that it would take some time for him to grab Tsunade's attention when she was only concentrating on what Goku was saying.

Shizune: It's good to see you again, Jiraiya sensei.

Jiraiya: It's good to see you again, Shizune.

It was becoming increasingly difficult for Naruto to comprehend what was taking place. As a result of the fact that it appeared to him both Goku and Jiraiya were familiar with these people, he felt left out and slammed his hands on the table in an attempt to get answers.
