Soft sobbing could be heard from the room, just as Charlie stepped into him and casper's house. He paused.
"Cas?" he called to her, hoping she was ok. "Y/n what's matter?"he asked her as he stepped inside her bedroom. "C-casper?What's wrong?" he said wrapping his arms around her.
"I-i thought-" she started, gasping as she regained her breath, "Y-you were-I couldn't-" she sobbed into his shoulder. "I just-wanted to-"
"Oh cas, I'm here, I'm okay-you don't gotta worry no more," he squeezed Y/n tighter, "You're safe, it'll be okay," he watched as she took a breath, and looked up at him. "You wanna talk about it? I mean-you don't have to, but you can?" he said.
"I-just.. can you hold me?" she asked.
"Yeah, of 'course I can cas," the two of them sat there together. charlie rubbin' caspers back, and casper playin' with his hair. "Anythin' else you need?" he asked after a while.
"I'm still kinda sleepy, can you s-stay with me while I fall asleep?"
"Yeah, I'm tired to, is it okay if i stay here tonight?" he asked, lying down with her.
"Yeah,"
"Sleep well,"
"Goodnight babe"
