"Hey, how long are you guys gonna take?"
"Yerin said she was hungry, so she has gone to bring something for her."

"You know I can't sleep without you..." Jimin has said it before realising.

Jungkook's heart skips a beat. Corners of his mouth lift up, tips of his ears heat up and turn red. And all this just because of a sentence from Jimin.

"I'll be there soon... Max 15 minutes here, then 30 minutes on the road... Have you eaten Jimin?"
"I did... You can eat outside if you want... Or I'll cook something if you don't wanna eat out"
"It's alright, you must be tired... I'll also take something from here..."

"Okay, come soon..." Jimin's cheeks turn pink as he says so. Jungkook also feels a warm sensation running through his body.

They cut the call.

"Who was it?"
"Jimin.., he was asking how long we were gonna take"
"Oooh~ someone's jealous of us spending some quality time together~" She winks at Jungkook.

"First of all, you are just shopping, and I'm only tagging along, carrying some of your bags. We came here even though I'm tired. Secondly, and most importantly, My Jimin doesn't get jealous. Don't forget he was the one who asked me to accompany you!"

"Are you saying you didn't wanna come?" She asks irritated.
"I'm saying, don't try to act close suddenly. And stay in your limits. Be careful with your words around a married man!"

"Jungkook, you have changed. We are childhood friends for god's sake. Friends joke among them."
"Think about it Yerin. Is it me who has changed or is it you? Don't think that I don't know what your back-handed comments mean."

"Okay let's stop! I'm sorry okay! I won't take Jimin's name like this again! Is that okay?"
"Yes. Much better." Jungkook says releasing a sigh. He gets up from his seat.

"Where are you going?" Yerin asks annoyed.
"To get me something to eat."
"Okay."

When Jungkook leaves, Yerin clenches her fist tight. She has never felt so humiliated in her life. Technically she has, when she got rejected the second time, and even more the third time.

But that was just because of Jungkook, not because of some random guy! "I'll show you Jungkook! I'll show you Jimin is not better than me!"

"It will take around 2 weeks for the renovation. So see you then!"
"See you Ms. Lin. Goodbye!"

Jimin returns home in half day. He informed Jungkook through text and returned with his bodyguards, who will also get 2 weeks off because he's gonna be home for the next 2 weeks again.

Yerin & Mrs. Jeon were cooking in the kitchen when he reached home. They were happy and loud together. Mrs. Jeon looked genuinely happy.

Jimin feels bittersweet about it.

"Jimin? You are already back?" Yerin asks.
"Oh yeah... Studio is going under renovation."
"Wow, I was meaning to spend time with you Jimin. I wanted to talk to you~"

"Really... Then I'll come back after freshening up..." Jimin replies with a smile. She might not be that bad. He thinks. She hasn't given any reason to not like her as well. She's just impulsive and doesn't think before speaking. He thinks.

When Jimin comes back, Yerin asks him to join her on the couch in living room. She was talking with Jungkook's mother, re-collecting some older memories.
