48 | Just Needed My Jimin Vitamin

"You know I completed this book within a day, it's so interesting." Jimin excitedly tells Jungkook about the novel he read.

They were currently sitting in the back lawn with two cups of tea placed on the table in between their chairs.

".. then, the girl's brother came unannounced and caught them kissing behind the alley and..." Jimin keeps babbling about the plotline and Jungkook looks at his excited smile with a matching smile of his own.

"And you know there was a plot twis--" Jimin stops abruptly at Jungkook's phone ringing. He takes a breath of silence, waiting for Jungkook to take the call.

Instead, silencing his phone, Jungkook looks at him, "What was the plot twist?"
Jimin threads their fingers together appreciatively and within the next moment, he was babbling again.

Jungkook chuckles internally.

Jimin's smile makes his chest quake, his lungs shrink, his grip on his fingers tighten to claim him as his. He feels refreshed all in one moment.

"Then the couple lived-" Jungkook suddenly kisses him to stop his nonstop speech.
It was so unexpected that Jimin's heart almost jumped out of his chest.

He shyly smiled looking at Jungkook's playful smile. "What was that..."
"You were looking extremely pretty in the sunlight."

"Thanks..."
"Continue the story?"
"I was just saying, they lived happy ever after"

"Yes, Mr. Choi?" Jungkook calls back his private investigator.

"Mr. Jeon, we have most of the details with us. Are you available for a few minutes."
"Yeah I am, please go ahead."

"Lee Architect was mainly a legal covering for their illegal business. They dealt in drugs n all, and all these things were out in the public because of Park Inn's co-partner's death. Did you know this much?"
"Ah yeah, my father told me... Where are they now?"

"So, the Lees splitted whatever was left in their name after the son & grandson were released from jail 8 years ago. After that all of them left Korea to live outside. We have come to know they started different businesses there from a small scale. But now they are running well. One is ramen factory, one is Korean BBQ restaurant, and one is a small fashion company."

"We also found some of their extended family members are still in Korea, but they were not involved in the case 14 years ago."

"Okay. Thankyou so much Mr. Choi. Also, can I get a list of the family members who remained in Korea? If someone is keeping an eye on Jimin, they have to be in Korea."

"I've sent you the details of their business outside Korea. For the list, give me some time. I'll get back to you as soon as possible."
"Thank you very much Mr. Choi!"

After the call ends, Jungkook decides to ask Taehyung about the Lee's fashion company if he has any idea about it.

His head aches and he presses his forehead from both sides. He knows a lot of things about Lees but still has no idea who is the one keeping an eye on Jimin.

There was a knock on the door to his study room. "I'm coming" Jungkook says getting up.

"Is everything alright? You look worn out?"
Jimin asks concerned.
"Only a hug can help..." Jungkook breathily mutters before downing all his weight on Jimin who stumbles a little at first but then hugs him back tightly.

Jungkook sighs on his back.
"What is it..." Jimin asks again.
"Nothing, I just needed my Jimin vitamin"

Jimin smiles shaking his head.
