Paris and San Francisco

Rosé's POV:

She was packing her rimowa suitcase in her room before heading to the airport. She was heading to San Francisco for an event about the importance of mental health. She was so honored to be invited but being able to talk about something she's been through was on another level of gratitude.

Being officially back to Seoul for a few months after the end of the tour was quite weird to Rosé. She was just adjusting to her lifestyle: taking a flight just to get her nails done, or to bleach her growing roots, flying from America to SK for an event, then back to Europe for a tour date.
Life had been crazy lately but she wasn't complaining. She loved her job and her blinks.

But mostly, she was grateful to have Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie by her side.
They were all grown adults now and being on hiatus meant not seeing each other for a while.
After almost a year on tour, it was necessary for everyone to do their own thing.

But Rosé was definitely missing Lisa.
She knew Lisa had a few projects but what was really painful for Rosé was that she had been hanging around Frederic since this summer.
They got pretty close right after they started working with the Arnault family and it was nice to see that because in this industry is unusual to make actual friends.
What Lisa didn't know it was the fact that Rosé was feeling uneasy when the two of them started what looked like a relationship.
She didn't confirm anything to her bandmates and that confused Rosé even more. What was to hide? They were like family after all.

Rosé was zooming out when her phone started ringing.

R: "Hello? Yes I'm so sorry, I'll be there in a few"

Her manager was waiting for her downstairs ready to leave for the airport.

In the taxi she received a text from the Blackpink group chat

Jisoo 🌹: what are guys up to?
Jennie 🧸: I'm hanging out with Shin Hyun Ji.
Lisa 🤍: just woke up in Paris I guess
Jisoo🌹: when did you leave? You really are a ninja Lisaya
Rosé: hey girls! I'm heading to the airport rn, I will be attending a mental health awareness event in SF.
Jennie🧸: hubby! You'll do amazing as always 🫶🏻
Jisoo🌹: good luck Rosieposie!
Lisa🤍: 🍀😘

Rosé thought to herself: "What was that? Two emojis? I mean we've been known that Lisa isn't good at texting but she could have said something more."

Paris. For all those hours on the flight from SK to SF, Rosé couldn't stop thinking about Lisa being in Paris. Not just the city, she had always manifested to live there for a year, but the fact that she was most probably with that Fred guy. He was nice actually, really thoughtful towards Lisa in moments of need, very rich - basically one of the richest person in the world. But Rosé couldn't stand his face. He was a nepo baby to her eyes and even if he was good at his job, he still hadn't face much of a problem in his life. Rosé was a billionaire herself but she had to go trough hell while training for YG. All the girls were working so hard while sleep deprived and not at their best health.

And also he wasn't really good looking and seeing him beside Lisa was too much to handle.
She was a goddess, she needed someone like her by her side, a person that could love her the way she deserved, a person like Rosé.

Just thinking about that made her blush.

Oppa: "Rosé we landed, are you alright?"

R: "y- yeah. I'm just really excited to meet Jill Biden!"

Oppa: "okay let's go, this is your hotel key room, the dress must be on the bed"

Rosé: hey guys what do you think?

Jennie 🧸: giiirl you look stunning!
Jisoo🌹: beautiful!

Lisa🤍 has seen the message

Rosé thought Lisa was probably occupied and couldn't answer.

The event went really good and Rosé was satisfied with her speech but she was exhausted so she decided to go back to her hotel.
It was night and she checked what time it was in Paris. Lisa must had been awake so she decided to call her.

After a few moments she heard her voice
L: "hey Rosie! What a surprise, are you alright?"
R: "hi! Y-yeah I just wanted to check on you. What are you up to in Paris?"
L: "I'm good I'm having hot chocolate in a café along the Saine. Quite romantic I'd say! You should see this place, it's amazing. How was the event?"
R: " it sounds really romantic....It was good, I got to talk about mental health and I was really proud of my speech actually ahah"
L: "you have always been good at talking Rosie, and writing down your thoughts."

There was a long pause before Rosé said

R: "I miss you"

Lisa didn't have time to respond, Rosé heard a male voice with a French accent say "hey Lisa, let's go I wanna show you a place" and with that Lisa said goodbye and hung up.
