He had done this on purpose to get to me. Why else would he come here? He surely knew that everybody was aware of the situation. He surely knew everybody had heard he'd been fired not to mention had his face beat up. This was a mind game and I certainly wasn't up for playing.

His beautiful girlfriend, Sarah stepped in behind him and my eyes widened instantly.

How the fuck did this just get even worse?!

'What the fuck, Tori?' Cal spat, quietly, to which she turned to him and frowned.

I spun to look at her. 'Why would you invite him?' I hissed.

'Why wouldn't I?' she questioned.

I heard Cal let out a sigh and when I looked up at him, his eyes were gently closed. 'She doesn't know yet,' he muttered.

'Know what?' Tori asked, glancing between Cal and me.

'They're probably referring to me getting fired several days ago.' Felix had joined the group at this point, a very uncomfortable looking Sarah pressed closely against him. She was probably wondering what the hell they were doing here if Cal had just fired Felix - not to mention hit him.

'What?' Tori gasped.

Felix let out a breath of laughter and pointed to his face. 'Hence the new look.'

'You fired him and beat him up?!' Tori exclaimed.

'I can't believe you didn't tell her about this,' Charlie sighed, shaking his head at Cal.

Cal's jaw ticked and his brows furrowed. 'Honestly Charlie, I thought you already would have since you usually let slip everything else I fucking tell you.'

'Okay, stop!' I snapped, raising my hands. 'Stop arguing; we're on vacation for God's sake!'

The room went silent and I struggled to think of something to follow up with. Sarah finally broke it with an embarrassed expression on her face. 'Felix, let's just go.'

He nodded slowly but his eyes were fixated on me, a look of fury stirring behind them.

'Good idea.' Cal stepped in front of me, encouraging Felix to snap his eyes away from me and focus on him instead. 'Sorry that you made the trip all the way out here but your girlfriend is right. You should go.'

Sarah nodded and grabbed Felix's arm to pull him away.

'Is that really necessary?' Tori asked. 'They drove all the way here; it wasn't their fault! I didn't un-invite them so technically it's my fault!'

'Tori, stay out of this,' Cal warned.

'No!' she cried. 'Why did you fire him, huh? What is so bad that he didn't even last a month at the shop? What is so bad that you beat his ass and are forcing him to leave here? What is-.'

'Shut the fuck up!' I yelled, silencing the room again. 'Just shut up, okay! This shit is no-one's business!'

The fact that Felix and I had kissed could not be public information right now. As far as I knew, Sarah had no clue and for her to find out in this situation would be awful. Not only that, but I certainly didn't want Cal's friends to know I had done that with him.

'She's right...it's no-one's business,' Cal reiterated.

My eyes were locked onto Sarah and her eyes were wide as she stared up at her boyfriend, a look of confusion and curiosity on her face. She had no clue what we were talking about and I felt so bad for her. She was probably looking forward to this vacation and now it was ruined before it had even begun.
