'Charlie, you know it makes you look extremely fucking weird when you ask them to put ice in your beer, right?' Tori was mocking Charlie as the two of them plus Cal and me stood at the bar. It was busy and loud but a hearty atmosphere and I found myself giggling at the constant bickering between Tori and Charlie. The two of them always seemed to find a way to taunt each other.

'Tori, we've been over this before, it's not fucking weird, it's essential,' Charlie replied, shaking his head at her.

'Nobody asks for ice in their beer,' she told him, with a twisted expression. 'Hence why the bartender gives you a questionable look to make sure you're not pulling his leg first before he realises you're serious and looks at you like you're a total moron and then looks at us like we're all weirdos too because we're here with you.'

Cal and I looked at each other and laughed loudly and Charlie clicked his tongue and scowled at Tori.

'Who the fuck put a dollar in you?' he cried.

'I'm just saying, you're a freak,' she said, shrugging before taking a gulp from her drink.

'You're a bitch,' Charlie fired back. 'Cal, tell her it's totally fucking normal to add ice to beer.'

'Cal, tell him it's fucking pervert behaviour,' Tori sighed.

I cackled loudly at her response and she turned to me and grinned.

'Look, some of us just like beer a little extra cold, it doesn't mean he's a weirdo,' Cal said, receiving an appreciative smile from Charlie.

'Oh, you're backing him up, huh?' Tori questioned, in a teasing tone.

'I have to agree with Tori, adding ice to your beer should be some sort of crime,' I laughed.

'Thank you!' Tori exclaimed.

'Babe, it's literally ice, I don't see the big deal,' Cal chuckled, nudging me softly on the arm.

'I swear you and Charlie have a pact to always back each other up,' Tori scoffed. 'Ya'll kiss each other's asses to death!'

'You know I'm your boss, right?' Cal laughed. 'Maybe I'll just fire your ass.'

'Maybe I'll just start talking about the Bethan Book,' Tori replied, with a smug grin, and I saw the smile drop from Cal's face.

'What's the Bethan Book?' I asked, looking at all three of them.

'Never has there been a bigger bitch!' Charlie cried.

'She wouldn't,' Cal murmured, narrowing his eyes at her.

'Wouldn't I?' Tori teased, with a smirk.

'You have to tell me now,' I told her.

'She's making it up,' Cal said, still staring at her.

'Cal has a specific sketch book that is for drawings of you and only you,' Tori told me. 'We found it at his station a few weeks ago.'

'You bitch!' Charlie gasped.

'Oh, she's a bitch alright!' Cal exclaimed.

'Oh my god, is that true?' I laughed, turning to Cal.

He sighed and scrunched his nose up, shrugging his shoulders gently before he looked away from me and then back to me and nodded. 'Yeah, it's true, but it was my own personal property that these fuckers shouldn't have been snooping through!'

'We found it by accident!' Charlie defended them and Tori nodded along with it.

'Total complete accident but the cutest fucking thing in the world,' Tori cackled.
