"Amanda, I found you a job", Anna burst into the house with excitement.

She noticed Amanda sprawled on the couch in a bathrobe, freshly showered with a turban on her head. She had freshly sliced cucumber on her eyes and newly painted nails.

"Rough day?" Anna asked.

"Too rough. The internet is down, and what kind of damn job is this? I've only been here a week," Amanda corrected herself, sitting up so the cucumber slices fell from her eyes.

"Amanda, you'll organize the biggest Christmas event this town has ever seen", Anna declared grandly.

"And they'll pay me for that?" Amanda asked.

Anna nodded affirmatively. "I think this town has never had an event, so it will definitely be the biggest", Amanda chuckled.

"This is not a joke. We need to raise money from sponsors and donors to build a hockey arena. My job is at stake. Damn, it's a lot more than that. That arena means everything to this town. This has to be done right and on a grand scale", Anna sighed.

"Then you undoubtedly have the right person. Who knows how to party better than me? Oh, oh... I love hockey", Amanda said nostalgically.

"No, you love watching strong guys fight on the ice, be honest."

"That too, definitely. But tell me, how did you convince the big, bad wolf to allow you this?"

"Well, uh..." Anna began to stammer.

"I knew it, I knew it!" Amanda exclaimed excitedly.

"I saw how he looked at you in the Green Garden. And, how is he?" Anna inquired.

"I didn't sleep with him", Anna exclaimed. "Yet."

"There was an incident", Anna quickly blurted out.

"What kind?"

"One shapeshifter ambushed me in the hallway."

"More details, please?"

"They can smell everything, absolutely everything, Amanda. Especially bears. Did you know that bears have the best sense of smell on land? While dogs have a sense of smell 100 times better than humans, just like wolves, tracking dogs have 300 times, and bear noses are 7 times better than tracking dogs! This means bears smell 2100 times better than humans! Wolves hear better. They can hear sound signals up to a distance of 9 kilometers, and imagine, they give birth to deaf and blind ones."

"Get to the important part, Anna", Amanda sighed.

"I'm supposedly ovulating, or still ovulating, I don't know, and it drives them sexually wild. He cornered me against the wall, and if Gabriel hadn't stopped him..."

"Ah". Amanda said. "I can't remember the last time a man cornered me against the wall," she said, closing her eyes, and sighing lightly.

"And I suppose Gabriel cornered you later. That's the way, girl, make him jealous."

Anna blinked twice, looking at Amanda in amazement.

"You assume correctly", Anna said, shaking her head slowly.

"Why are you looking at me like I'm crazy? Well, I won't advise you on the stock market. That would be strange. Anyway, let's change the topic so you don't feel uncomfortable anymore", Amanda winked.

"What's the master plan for that event? Because I assume you already have it", Amanda said.

"Of course, I do. My plan includes all aspects of the event", Anna said.
