Aggro's P.O.V

I followed after Winger, Summer, and Hinata, as they flew off to an island that the female Lovewing in question had suggested to the other two dragons flying on either side of her as they watched the water splash against the rocks down below them as they kept zooming along the afternoon skyline that laid out before them. Yes, you heard me corectly earlier. My plan was to follow them and see what happens: while Summer does some more investigating in  the form of a mini joy flying escapade. I followed the others to an island with a bundle of berry bushes and apple trees. The sand was white as snow and the water was a gorgeous sapphire blue. I jumped behind a tree to watch them without being scene. The only one who knew of my presence here was Summer, and that was because we had come up with the idea that I follow her and the other two but stay hidden and out of sight.

I watched from in the tree as Summer left to gather some apples for them all to eat. I then watched with sad eyes as Hinata had her paw on Winger's paw, as if they were holding hands. Oh no! What will Summer think when she sees this? I thought sadly to myself as I continued to watch the two dragons. Then a short while later, I saw Summer flying back to the others with a bundle of apples in her claws. Then I watched as Summer's face went from happy to sad and on the verge of tears in a matter of seconds. Poor girl! I thought mournfully to myself with a sympathetic look forming on my face as I continued to keep a close eye on Summer, Winger, and Hinata, from my hide place in a nearby tree.

Summer's P.O.V

I was flying to Winger's left and Hinata was flying to Winger's right. "Soooo... do either of you have a specific place you want to go?" He asked. "U-Umm... I-I m-might know of a place. C-Come on, it's not t-that far from here!" Hinata said, leading the way to said island. We landed on the shoreline of a beach witch was surrounded on all sides with berry bushes and apple trees. The sand was pure white and the water was a brilliant sapphire blue. "Where do you girls wanna go?" Winger asked both me and Hinata. "I have an idea, let's go out onto the sand." I say happily. "Or we could go into the forest. There's more shade from the sun in the trees." Said Hinata with a calm but quiet tone and a sweet smile on her face. "Ok, into the forest it is then." Winger announced. I tried not to show my annoyance as we flew into the shade of the trees. "I'm hungry, who's up for some berries or apples?" Winger asked and I volunteered to go and get something for the three of us to eat. I went to pick apples and when I came back, Hinata had her paw on Winger's paw, as if they were holding hands. That broke my heart. I still flew back to them on the verge of tears. "T-Thanks Summer." Said Hinata with a shy smile. I mumbled a soft "you're welcome" and did not speak for the rest of the conversation. When we finished eating our apples, we flew back to the roost. "You two go on ahead, I'll catch up with you." I told them. Winger and Hinata both nodded and they unfurled their wings, smiled brightly at one another once again and left me by myself on the small beach as I had requested them to do. Obce the two dragons in question were no longer in view of me, I sighed mornfully up at the clouds, shook my head to clear my gloomy thoughts away, narrowed my eyes in contemplation, and turned back around and quickly began to scan the small woodsy area for any sign of Aggro. "Aggro? Are you here?" I asked. She came out of a nearby bush. "Hey Summer! I did see that. Your conscious must be hurt!" Said Aggro. "It's ok." I said. "We should probably start heading back to the roost though. The sun is gonna be setting soon and our friends will start to worry if we're not back in time for dinner." It was our turn and with no more words left to be said, the two of us unfurled our wings and took flight. "I'm going back into hiding mode." Said Aggro as we approached Winger and Hinata. I nodded silently at the small red fire dragon as she zipped out of sight while I tried to do everything but watch the seen currently playing out in front of my very eyes. Winger and Hinata were laughing together and turning in a circle that looked suspiciously like the Night Fury mating dance. Thinking about it thought made me feel even more dejected - and  it didn't help my mood either. In fact, it made my eyes sting with unshed tears upon realizing that I might be stuck as nothing more than a best friend in the eyes of the dragon I loved for the rest of my life more clearer to me then it had even been bore. Going down that dark train of thoughts made my heart squeeze even tighter inside my chest. That thought on its own hurt me even more.
