I wake up early that morning to let in the cooks.

After I do, I get ready quickly and put on a blue, lacey dress James had personally picked out for me.

It doesn't help that I'm meeting his family and I'm pregnant. I'm nervous out of my mind or it's the hormones talking. I can't tell.

Something else that is bugging me is the reaction that James is going to have about the baby. I'm pretty sure he's going to be happy, but you never know.

After worrying my head off for what felt like forever, I heard a knock at the door.

I look through the peek hole and see 2 people that must be in there 50s. I assume it's his parents and open the door.

"Hello! Come in!" I smile and let them in. "My name is Tori, but I'm sure James has already told you that."

"James finally picked a keeper. You're a very pretty young lady! My name is Donna. It's nice to meet you," exclaims his mother.

"I don't think he could have picked someone nicer! My name is Chad," introduces his father.

"Well it's very nice to meet both of you! I'm going to help James with the boxes."

"No, no, no. A girl like you shouldn't have to carry those heavy bags! Come and sit in the living room with us and relax! I don't want you straining yourself, I do hope that you have my grandchildren," Donna says. How ironic. I can't tell them before James, but it's killing me!

"Is there anyone else coming," I ask.

"Oh, many people! We have a very big family! You'll get to meet his sister too," Donna says. His dad has already went to sit in the living room.

"He never told me that so many people were coming! I thought it would be his parents! I never knew he has a sister either!"

"Well, he does. He doesn't share a lot of information with us too. His sister just had a second child with her husband, Steve." I can't hold it in anymore!

"I have to tell you a secret! I can't hold it in anymore." I take a deep breath. "I just found out yesterday after James had left...that...I'm pregnant! You can't tell anyone! James doesn't know yet."

"That's amazing! I've always wanted a lot of grandchildren to spoil!"

"I'm so glad! I'm pretty sure he's going to be happy." A humongous smile creeps in my face.

"Well you need to sit! No work for you! I'm going into the living room with my crazy husband. I'm sure he's already into the liquor!" I laugh and she goes to the living room.

I rush out to the car to find James. When I do, I find him at the trunk getting the last of the boxes out.

"Hey hot stuff!" I go up behind him and bear hug him.

"Hey there sexy!"

We hug properly and I never want to get out of his embrace. I feel my eyes tearing up from happiness.

"Why are you tearing up," he asks concerned.

"I'm just so happy to see you!"

"Are you sure nothing's different or wrong?"

"No! Nothing wrong!" I kiss him and put my hands around his neck. He puts his hands on my hips and kisses back. "I'm just really happy to see you!"

"I'm happy to see you too! I'd be happier if you helped me with these bags."

"Your mom doesn't want me doing any heavy lifting."

"Why's that?"

I look over at the door and find James's mother causally looking out at us. She winks at me and I take that as the sign to go.

"Well...James-"

"Hold that thought, everyone else is coming." He points to all the cars entering the driveway. "This is going to be a very long day." He rolls his eyes.

I lost my chance!

"Well I'm going to cheak in the chefs,"
I say disappointed.

"Ok. I love you."

"I love u too."
