Recap: "I'll be fine okay? Just go. I was last time..." I told her shaking it off and giving her my best fake smile.

The knocking happened again, louder and more frantic.

"Go. Now." I snapped, tossing her one of the twelve prepacked bags laying around the apartment.

Catching it, she gave me one last sad look and ran out of the room, hopefully grabbing Melody and leaving.

Breathing in deeply and shaking my hands out, I cautiously walked over to our stark white apartment door. While sliding the door chain in place, I yell "Sorry, I already bought girl scout cookies!" into the crack of the door.

"I'm not selling girl scout cookies." A male voice scoffed. "Do I look like I would be selling girl scout cookies?"

Looking out the peephole I saw a tall white guy, no older than sixteen with thick curly brown hair and what looked like golden horns? He was seriously wearing the brightest orange shirt I've ever seen, with a black printed Camp Half-Blood across it and weird woolly pants.

My curiosity got the better of me I opened the door as far as the chain would allow.

"Hi, how may I help you." I asked giving my most innocent smile.

"Hello. My name is Grover, Grover Underwood. Um, are you Skylar Smith? Because I need to.... Talk to you." He said glancing behind him.

"Why do you need to... Talk to me?" I asked, ready to close the door and run.

"It's about your parents." He said, his brown eyes meeting my green. "May I come inside? Let's not talk about this out here..." He said nervously, taking a step forward towards me and placing his hand on the door.

Freaking out I slammed the door and backed up looking around for the best way out of the apartment. Suddenly there was a large cracking noise, yelping and sharply turning my head back towards the door I could see two giant holes near the door chain.

"What the-" I started, when I saw his hand reach through the hole closest to the chain and unlocked it.

Crap, crap, crap. I chanted in my head. I grabbed the nearest thing I could throw, "Seriously?" I scolded myself, looking down at my hand realizing it happened to be a pillow from the couch.

As soon as Grover took a step into the apartment I threw the pillow and hit him dead in the face. Not giving him time to respond, I turned and ran towards the back bed room so I could escape down the fire escape. Passing my bedroom I could hear Grover panting as he followed me. Making a quick decision and a sharp right into Melody's room, I narrowly missed his hand reaching for me.

I could hear a loud thump, and him cursing to what sounded like Hades as he ran into a closed bedroom door. Smiling to myself, I looked around her room for a weapon or anything I could use to defend myself. Scanning the pink room littered with stuffed animals and hot wheels, nothing seemed weapon-y. I racked my brain for some type of idea on how to get out, my panic increased tenfold as Grover walked into the bedroom.

Allison sat on a bench next to a playground just packed with little kids. Smiling at Melody as she ran around playing tag with several other kids, she glanced around for what seemed to be the millionth time hoping to see Skylar walking towards her. Not seeing her, Allison sighed sadly and put her head in her hands.
