I've been completely avoiding  Aless. I couldn't face her for some reason. It still feels un real that she was back.

I had a million questions running through my head but most of all I wanted to know how she came back.

After almost a year of me believing she was dead. 𝖦𝗋𝗂𝖾𝗏𝗂𝗇𝗀 her death. Going through so much mental pain and stress only for her to show back up suddenly.

I know I should be happy that my Girlfriend was alive, I or anyone else no longer had to grieve her anymore, no longer had to be in pain. But I couldn't help but feel a little angry.

That night after Alicents death I stayed up all night. I didn't go back to Alessandra bedroom, instead I went back to my old room. Gosh, I haven't been in here in ages. So many memories were made in this room.

Despite the comfortable sheets and the warm blanket with the heat blasting from the ac I still couldn't sleep. So I stayed awake all night, staring up at the ceiling. Thinking about no one other but Aless.

I arrived at breakfast late the next morning. The dining hall was already full of chatter and eating.

I could smell my favorite breakfast cooking that I knew chef Jamie was making, Mealie. It was kind of similar to grits, you eat it with sugar or salt and pepper and it's delicious.

Upon walking into the dining hall I was welcomed by good mornings and bows of respect. I nodded and smiled gently.

My eyes caught those bright and intoxicating Hazel eyes from across the room. Suddenly I felt cold in my V-neck blue dress.

Alessandra eyes followed me as I sat at the head of the table.
Someone was talking to her but she wasn't listening, instead she was staring at me.

Aless was the same as I remembered, but instead of looking human she looked more demon than human, more evil than anything with the way she smirked.

My hand went to the exposed part of my breast bone as I looked at her. I don't know how long we stared at one another but Instead of continuing this "staring contest" any longer I look away from her and towards a guard stationed by the door. I wave him over.

"Could you go tell Jamie that I would like my breakfast please"

"Right on it my queen" the guard nodded, walking away towards the kitchens but Alessandra stood instead "I'll get it"

I sighed and turned towards Aless but ultimately didn't refuse her
"You may go back to where you were stationed, thank you Jerfar" I said the guard.

As I waited for Alessandra to return I was swarmed by polite gestures and small "How are you doings" and "You look well"

I still couldn't get over the fact Alicent was infernos daughter, and the fact that I was blind enough and couldn't see it.

She looked just like him. She had his nose, his mouth and hair. Everything!

Was I that blinded by wanting to jump her bones that I couldn't see it, that I didn't see the obvious signs?

Thinking about it now I felt embarrassed and ashamed of myself. A Queen doesn't get distracted.

Shortly, Alessandra came back with a steaming hot bowl of Mealie in her hands. My stomach rumbled at the sweet smell of sugar and honey. I knew Jamie made it extra special for me.

I watch Alessandra as she entered the room. Instead of just placing the bowl in front of me like I thought she was. instead she walked all the way around the table and leaned over my shoulder.
