Whispers of Despair

In shadows cast by textbooks' weight,

A teenage soul, burdened, contemplates fate.

Eager to please, to meet the grade,

She dances with stress in an endless parade.

Academic whispers, relentless and loud,

Measure her worth within a crowd.

Late nights consumed by a harsh glow,

The suffocating pressure begins to grow.

A fragile heart, a delicate bloom,

Caught in the grip of impending doom.

Validation sought in scores and praise,

She's lost within an academic maze.

Her dreams obscured by the looming test,

The weight on her chest, an unwelcome guest.

In the silence of despair, her tears fall,

A poignant symphony, an echoing call.

As she crumbles beneath the weight's cruel art,

A tale of academic pressure tears her apart.

In the cruel finale of this tragic scene,

A soul lost to the pressures, once so keen.

* I tried to use some bigger words in this(that sounds stupid) but I'm not sure if I used some of them correctly because I'm trying to expand my vocabulary just in general. Please let me know if I didn't use any of the words correctly and how you would change it to make it better.

I fell like this poem might seem a little bit dramatic but I tried my best.

I will try to post most more often but sometimes it's hard because I fell like I'm constantly busy and don't have any free time. Like for example this was a old poem that I just tweaked a little and that was that.

I hope you guys enjoy this!*
