Her parents' love, once so united
Now broken, shattered, torn apart
Leaves her with an aching heart
She's caught in the middle, of their strife
Their love turned sour, a bitter knife
Her world, once happy, now torn apart
Leaves her with an aching heart
She sees her friends with parents whole
But she's left with a shattered soul
A constant battle, that she must fight
To keep her spirits up, day and night
*I wrote this one a while ago and wasn't sure if I should post it or not but I just went ahead and did it.
