Synopsis: The First Round of Gaen Cup is Underway. Hou Ren reunites with some old friends......
The Scene Begins With Ion Announcing the Gaen Cup On TV.
Ion: Good Morning Ladies And Gents, I'm Ion Nanana, the official commentator of the Gaen Cup. My, this tournament is all the hype that everyone's been talking about. Massive thanks to the official tournament host and sponsor, Mr Kyoya Gaen. At the same time, as Mr Gaen said, there will be a few changes. Allow me to explain.

Ion: First, Competitors must go to a registered card shop to battle each other. Every winners earn points. When the Top 16 players have been selected, the first round is over and the next round will commence. A battle royale will commence in the next round and the remaining 8 players who were not elimminated will move on to the final round. The final round itself will be in regular tournament format and the last buddyfighter standing will officially earn the right to fight Kyoya and earn the title "Best Buddyfighter In All Of History". The Scene then moves to Sunway Pyramid. The knights (minus the Juniors) are gathered at one of the card shops as they are excited for the Gaen Cup. Tons of people have showed up for competition.
Kaizer: Oh wow, look at this crowd.
Trickstar: I can't even see where I'm going.
Sensei: Still, we're not competing as per agreement so....
In A Flashback, it is revealed that the Draknights except for Lost Ren have decided not to compete. They believe now is the right time for others to step up and show what they can do. As Bonus, the brothers also believed that they could overwhelm the tournament if they compete.....
Hou Ren: Yep. So therefore it's just me and Garga and Lost Ren.
Lost Ren: You better not dissapoint me.
Hou Ren: Relax.
Shiloh: Hou Ren.
Shiloh and her siblings arrived.
Hou Ren: (Happily Surprised) Yo. Elijah. Shiloh. You guys are here too?
Elijah: Of course. It's been a while man. Why wouldn't we compete in this tournament.
Judah: Yeah I know right. Also, we've been wanting to come to Malaysia for so long.
Hou Ren: Is that so? But Are you Sure? What about your channel?
Daniel: Bah, Relax. Cuz we're gonna record our matches and then upload them.
Garga: I see. For entertainment. Okay Then.
Hou Ren: Well, I guess here we are today as both friends and rivals.
Micah: Yep. Be warned, Hou Ren. We've done alot of training and we're not prepared to lose.
Hou Ren: I can see that. Unfortunately, Only me and Lost Ren are competing.
Micah: Even better. I wanna get revenge for how he beaten me last time.
Lost Ren: Don't get cocky my friend. I can still beat you if I have to.
Josiah: Yeah what he said.
Hou Ren: This is going to be fun.
