The Scene begins with a flashback of Seiji and Daryl facing each other in a game of chess. With Daryl being an absolute newbie and Seiji being a champion, Daryl somehow bested him.....
Daryl: And I believe....this is checkmate.
Seiji felt devastated as he lost.....
Another Flashback reveals Seiji joining Vile Ranma's side and accquired Nero lance as his buddy.
Vile Ranma: His Name is Lostknight, Nero Lance. Also known as "Zero Knight".
Seiji: Nero Lance.....
Seiji and Daryl faced each other 3 times with Daryl having 2 wins and 1 loss. Seiji back then is very jealous of Daryl's skillsets but eventually he decided to stop being jealous and become Daryl's friend once again. And then another flashback reveals Seiji's training days with Guru.
Past Guru: What's troubling you son?
Past Seiji: It's nothing. I'm sure losing confidence that's all.
Past Guru: Confidence?
Past Seiji: It's just well, I don't know how to catch up with Daryl. He's like better than me in everything. Studies, Chess and Even Buddyfight.
Past Guru: Well is that right.....Well My Boy, You don't have to compare ya know that?
Past Seiji: Compare?
Past Guru: Sure, Daryl maybe better than you all, but did you ever think about you being better than yourself?
Past Seiji: Myself....
Past Guru: Hear me out, My first bit of advice to you is stop comparing yourself with those around you. Instead, focus on what's your weakness and better yourself alright?
Past Seiji: Guru....
The Scene then immediately moved back to the present with Seiji and Daryl facing each other once again in the Gaen Cup. Both players stare at each other with determination.
Seji: I never thought I'd see you again.
Daryl: Neither did I. Guess we both have something in common you and I.
Seiji: Likewise. I guess today we are here as friends......and rivals.
Daryl: Seiji.....
Anime Opening: Black And White.
