Path To Liberation, All Hands On Deck (Chap 53)

Synopsis: With Daryl and the rest of Hou Ren's classmates on board, Hou Ren thought it would be a good idea to ask for more help. He pays a visit to an old friend and rival. At the same time however, before the final 8, its instant knockout for those who lose. Who will be the remaining 8 to move on?

The Scene begins at Ankh Kingdom. The Camera focus on the citizens on their normal day routine then the Ankh Kingdom Palace where the young prince is readjusting his deck in his dining room.

Alec: Let's see. I'll put this here and this there.....

Suddenly a giant screen is displayed in front of him on the table where Ion is on screen with sudden Gaen News. It caught his attention in the process.

Ion: Helloooooooooooooooo Buddyfight Fans. I'm Ion and I'm here about to bring up a special update on the second round of the Gaen Cup. By the looks of things, only 11 players are still alive based on this diagram right here. And at the same time, Kyoya has made an announcement regarding on the second round of the Gaen Cup. Here's the message. Play it please.

Kyoya then immediately appears on TV.

Kyoya: In order to speed things up abit, I have decided to apply some sudden death logic. The next three players who was defeated will be eliminated instantly.

Alec: WHAT?

Kyoya: If you're wondering why, it's my fault for not adding a time limit and me and my buddy are getting tired of waiting for competitors.

Alec: (Banged the Table) He did that purposely. I know he did that purposely and it's not an accident.

Kyoya: And knowing the winners, they will definitely advance with ease right. To all the competitors out there, Good luck. And now I will pass the live back to Ms Ion.

Switched back to Ion's side.

Ion: That's all from Kyoya. You heard him, everyone, the next three competitors who loses will be instantly out. Good Luck.

The broadcast ends with the screen closed on its own.

Kyoya: What is with that Kyoya.....I can never figure out him sometimes. 

Ankh Guard: Your highess, we have a visitor waiting at the hallway.

Alec: What? Who could that be?

Alec then walks to his hallway alone to find that Hou Ren is the one at his hallway, much to his surprise.

Hou Ren: Hi.

The Scene then switch to Alec happily embracing his only friend and rival, with him doing the same.

Alec: It's been so long. What brings you here in Ankh Kingdom?

Hou Ren: Let's just say, I want to visit and I want to talk about something.

Alec: Interesting?

Thus switch to the dining room with Alec and Hou Ren sitting at each end of a long dining table.

Alec: Well, I'm all ears.

Hou Ren: Okay first I want to apologize for like erasing your memories and so on.

Alec: You came all the way to say that? It's okay, my friend. Let Bygones Be Bygones.

Hou Ren: Right.....And there's something else too. It's about the Gaen Cup and I'm aware you're in the second round.
