Ion: (On TV) HELLOOOO BUDDYFIGHTERS. Ion Nanana's here to brought you up to speed regarding what happenned. (As a few matches are shown on screen) We've seen so many matches in the preliminaries of the new Gaen Cup, but only 16 players have moved on to the second round. Oh at the same time, Da Dan was caught cheating and can we ban him for that? We can? Great. Aside from that, the question is how does the next round work? Well to start off, let's have the Man of the Tournament explain the rules himself. Presenting Mr Kyoya Gaen. (Moves out of the way)
Kyoya: Thank you, Ms Nanana. Hello Everyone, I am Kyoya Gaen, head of the official Gaen Financial Group and the official tournament host of the Gaen Cup. I've seen so many buddyfights during the prelims and I must say they are quite spectacular. But let's not talk about that as I'm going to explain the second round format.
The second round tournament format is displayed on screen.
Kyoya: The Second round is proudly known as the "Three Life-Knockout". 16 contestants have are here right now and only 8 players will move onto the final round. Each player are given 3 survival chances. They can see it through their Gaen watch which was handed out to them.
Ion: Contestants can choose whoever opponent they want, so long as they are competitors of the second round. If not, then the tournament AI will select for you. Whoever loses in a match will lost 1 survival point. If all 3 survival points are down, they will officially be out of the tournament.
Kyoya: As soon as the first 8 players have their survival points out, the second round is over and the remaining 8 will move on to the final round. That's all for now, all that's left to say is....

Micah: (Whining) It's no fair. I should have moved on to the second round. I even did alot of training. I even not drink any water in like 3 days.
Judah: If that's the case, how come you are still alive?
Micah: I cheated.....
Mary: Bruh.....Yeah....none of us did except for Elijah and Shiloh. I wonder why those two are often paired together.
Josiah: It's because mostly Elijah is the one being with her as seen in her old videos.
Daniel: Or it could be biased.
Mary: Speaking of which, where are the two right now?
In another location, Elijah and Shiloh are arguing on who is better.....
Elijah: I'm the better buddyfighter sis.
Shiloh: No I am. You were literally placed in fourth.
Elijah: Don't get started on me missy, just because you're one of the top 3 doesn't mean you're the best.
Shiloh: Oh Sure. Says the one who mess up in the prelims and was nearly placed last in the prelims.
Elijah: That was a slight accident. And my opponent cheated.
Shiloh: And you're being such a crybaby about it. Grow up will you.
Elijah: I am older than you. You're the one that should grow up.
