As Coriolanus stepped up to the train, he knew it was wrong. But his job was to make this girl a spectacle. Even if she didn't win, his job was to promote the game, bring attention to not only her, but grab the attention of the viewers. He had to win.

He stepped up, the dirty concrete on his even dirtier shoes. He heard the grunts of cries of tributes who had been separated from everything they know. He tried not to think of them never being with their families again. Then, he saw her. Her. Amelia Gray. She wasn't as he expected. She was different in person, she persuaded him, attracted him towards her. She had a confidence that even though she would lose her life in the arena, she didn't seem to care. Just had a little smirk on her face. As he walked to her, all she did was stare. She was infatuated, it seemed.

"You don't look like you should be here. Who are you, anyway?" She says as he walks up to her.

"I probably shouldn't," I say, "But, I'm your mentor." As I hand her the rose, I realize she isn't as small as she looked on camera. She is wearing an extravagantly large, colorful dress. When I say extravagantly, I don't mean it nicely. There is a certain way that high class people expect you to act, wear, eat, everything. Fitting in isn't easy. I've had to work so hard to try and hide my true identity of poverty to everyone. If I am telling the truth, I am not richer than this girl, Amelia Gray, but I know how to act above it. I know how to hide my truth and hide my true self. Nobody can know who I am, and if they do, the Plinth prize will never be mine. I can assure that.

"What does my mentor do, other than bring me roses?" she asks with a questioned expression on her face. Something about this girl, I can't place it. Something is bringing me to her.

"I try my best to take care of you. I'll help you during the games, and to prepare for them." I say. Then, Peacemakers drag her and the other District 12 tribute away. I try to ask around, see where they're going. Silence from everyone. So, I take matters into my own hands. I run after her, and sneak into the bus.

"Pretty boy, where ya' goin' to? You know you ain't belong here." A tribute says. He bangs me against the wall. I breath heavily, scared out of my mind. What was I thinking?  I'm not like any of these animals. I could never. "I should just kill you myself, nothing I got to lose now." he says.

"That may be true, but you have nothing to gain either. Don't take your anger out on me." I try to beg my way out, and I'm let go. Then, I sit next to Amelia Gray, she looks me up and down and laughs to herself.

"What?" I say.

"You'd never survive in the Districts, better hope you stay at Capitol. Or else, you're dead meat, no doubt about it." She says and looks down and laughs. Somehow, I crack a smirk at her, just staring. Then, the car shakes and the doors fly open. She falls, and I grab her hand, but we both fall down, into... an animal cage? A zoo display? In the distance I see cameras and a man.

Hello, folks, I'm Lucky Flickermann and I will be the first ever host of the Hunger Games. Such a wonderful experience for me. I'm so grateful, here we have the tributes on display for you to see for, most, the last time before they go into the arena for the fight of their lives. And here they are and we see many- that's strange. One of them looks like a student at the School. Sir! Over here! Who are you?!
